So let me get this right, currently you are advocating Martin continues? Wow.
-
Which only proves that he was adequate in the Championship. Results and performances in the Premier League prove he is not doing well enough to warrant keeping his job - that's literally the way it works for all other clubs unless you can convince me otherwise.
-
Even worse is the fact that Russell's intransigence means oppo managers know that they can press us in and around our penalty area with a guarantee of chances/goals which is what we see in every game. It's football's version of the kamikaze pilot.
-
Fucking up our team.
-
No, it's the work of an incompetent manager. To label it as a work in progress or some sort of project being overseen by a maverick coach who will eventually show us all how wrong we were is a complete insult to our intelligence and it needs to stop now before further damage is done to our football club and its reputation.
-
And he did it in the knowledge that Cucurella would certainly make the most of it and it would be caught on a barrage of cameras to allow VAR to check it. He should be fined by the club and made to train with the B side.
-
They are clearly sticking with Russell expecting some sort of miracle reformation in the future - I've got news for them, it aint ever going to happen because he is a very basic level coach.
-
You make lots of good points. Russell is clearly a very limited coach who thinks he is smarter than he is which is always a danger. Aside from the pointless playing out from the back his sides just don't know how to track or mark players, they allow opponents far too much space, have no solid shape and do not cut out the supply lines - no surprise that we leak goals like a worn out sieve. Palmer was given absolute freedom of the park last night.
-
He knows exactly what to expect when his sides play Russell and he even blew smoke up his arse pre-match to make sure nothing changed.
-
Clearly not the sharpest tool in the box.
-
Bit harsh bringing back capital punishment for hair pulling.
-
When we play out from the back it reminds me of one of those acts where a guy spins plates but does it badly. We look so uncomfortable and it's almost comical to see one bad pass followed by a worse one then one worse still and watch the abject panic set in on our players faces - it's Russian roulette played with a football.
-
Only a complete simpleton believes this.
-
Comments like this are the problem not the solution.

Jack is a fucking idiot. Stadiums are full of cameras plus there is VAR yet this balloon decides he won't be spotted if he pulls the hair of an opponent at a corner - and not just any opponent, he decides to do it to one of the most devious little weasels in the whole of the Premier League who has a history of play-acting. You couldn't make it up.
-
Is he proud of his big buddy Captain Jack?
-
How much longer can Russell con SR and Dragan because it is a con trick that he's pulling. He is no more capable of coaching and setting up a team to play out from the back than Eddie Izzard. Yet still it goes on. I think most of us have had a bellyfull of it now so please give him his P45 tonight.
-
If Russell picks him again before the end of the season he's bonkers - he should have Christmas and Easter off.
-
Still waiting for the fun that Russell promised to start. Guess it'll be a long wait.
-
Special mentions to Wood and Manning who both played decent games. Also Fernandes, Aribo and KWP. In reality it was men against boys and could have been worse. We knocked the ball about with purpose at times and it would have been closer had we had a full side and weren't playing Russball at the back or captained by an absolute plank.
-
Sulemana waste of money and waste of a shirt.
-
For me there is a case for Cucurella to be given a red for his rection to a slight hair pull. To go down like he's been shot by the Jackall was a disgrace and does the game no favours. Time it was stamped out. It was a complete over reaction and he should have been punished for it.
-
Because it happens so often.
