Yeah, possibly to the tune of north of £200m 🙂
-
Call it a tenner fine then.
-
So you're a big fan of Tubby-the-mouthpiece-Corden then?
-
But what if Gibbo says this is what he wants?
-
Since when has there been any integrity in football 🙂
-
Peretz in goal, Manning, THB, Wood (or Stephens) Bree.
-
How would you know he had?
-
Gibbo hasn't aged well has he. Years of trying to play the hard man have obviously taken their toll. Time to curl up in your dressing gown and slippers with a mug of Horlicks and grow old gracefully Steve.
-
Why would appealing a fine and points deduction delay the final?
-
Presume if that turns out to be the case we'd appeal that as far too excessive a punishment.
-
Doesn't appear to be attempting to hide. Looks to be stood alongside the tree posing in full view for whoever is taking his picture.

From what I've heard from someone who worked in this area it is rife, every club does it, all the analysts know one another and it just goes on under an unwritten law that a blind eye is turned. Not sure why Boro suddenly decided to make a big deal out of it which is one of the oddest things about the whole affair. Leads me to think Taylor got involved with his old pals at Boro to get one back at us for sacking him. May be wrong but that's all I can come up with to make any sense of it. Whole thing is bizarre.
-
So we only started doing it at the start of this amazing run? We didn't do it when Boro thumped us 4-0?
-
Spot on. It goes on, everyone knows it, everyone does it and a blind eye is turned. That is until Boro decided to act all hurt and hard done by and lobbing every toy out of the pram. I'm certain they do it themselves.
-
I guess they balance out Deeney, Huckerby and Austin 🙂
-
Not what I said though is it?

The photo of Salt continues to baffle me. I'm sure Boro staff often spot people in and close to that place by the tree. Would they not just send someone to check them out and politely move them on. Surely they don't photograph everyone. The photo of Salt looks as though it could only have been done with a zoom lens. So why did they seemingly decide the photo was needed before talking to him. Smacks of them knowing he would be there and who he was so possibly some sort of set up on their part.
-
I know but it's possible his involvement goes deeper than just that. He's worked for both clubs so would still have contacts at Boro.
-
Agree. I keep wondering if Taylor the analyst we sacked in December who previously worked for Boro had a hand in all this. I also wonder whether the club demanded Will Salt hand over his phone when this first broke. A forensic investigation might have shown who he'd been talking to or texting which would have been interesting.

This is a totally out of order request from Boro but shouldn't come as a surprise. They made the complaint to the EFL who decided we have a case to answer. Now it's between us and the EFL and Boro need to step back and let due process take place. I'm sure we would oppose this quite vehemently and rightly so. Butt out Boro!

I look at the photo of the spy by the tree and it looks set up, almost posed? Who is taking the picture of him and why isn't he already on his toes. It just looks weird considering there are clearly many more suitable places to stand if you wanted to observe the training pitch. Probably clutching at straws but it looks stage managed 🙂
-
Makes you winder what they do on that now infamous training pitch.
-
Got to humour the Neanderthals.
-
Not as corrupt as the FA Cup Final 🙂
