Decent point in the end from one of the tougher away fixtures of the season so happy with that if not the overall performance. Their fullback played Leo very well which negated one of our key attacking outlets. Liked Matsuki's contribution and think he should start ahead of Fellows at the moment. Schlotterbeck scored a great goal but he did give me some causes for concerns with a couple of basic errors which he needs to cut out pretty sharpish. Not Peretz's best game either - he flapped at a couple of crosses and his distribution was off tonight. Thought Wood had a decent game. We need Jander back in midfield sooner rather than later so hope he's going to be fit for a game in near future.

Not our best 45 minutes at a tough away ground but Schlotterbeck made up for it all with that thumping header from the corner. We've been a bit disjointed and not won enough second ball and will need to improve 2nd half if we want to take all 3 points. A bit wasteful in possession and maybe we'll see JWP on early in the 2nd half. Currently up to 9th in the table.

Yeah, you'd have thought we could have sorted a loan deal out.

Whilst I agree your point it is tricky for a Championship to sign a striker who can score goals but is happy to sit on the bench. Ideally we'd have kept Stewart although he is not exactly racking up the minutes for Swansea and not in their squad again today.

He's not my kind of central defender but I think you're being a bit harsh suggesting he never has good games. When he's on it he is more than adequate but, his problem is that the next howler is rarely far away.

Start at a high tempo and play vertically through their lines and we can win this. No walking football - that's for the over 60s.

Have to be quick - I think their window closes earlier than ours.

It's hardly the slightest mistake in Stephens case. I accept he has good games but so often he makes unforced errors which lead to goals.

How many more times, it's not hate it is an opinion based on his tendency to drop howlers costing goals not just this season but ever since he's been here. All players will make mistakes but, for me, he makes far too many and often under little or no pressure.

Looks like being a boring last day of the window for us other than a few movements out to shift some of the deadwood. I suppose in some ways it's a good thing because there is no chatter about losing any of our top players.

Watched the Watford game and thought the defeat was due to Tonda making a rare error of judgement by playing Leo centrally and Dobbin out wide. Even then we still did enough to deserve at least a point. Saw bits of West Ham but not concerned as we were never going to win the Carabou Cup and it wasn't our first team.

Seems to me this guy is quite content to sit on our bench while collecting a big wage.

What about Schlotterbeck and Stephens or Wood and Stephens or Abbott and Stephens? I'm hoping Abbott quickly nails down a regular starting spot partnering Schlotterbeck but my worry is that Stephens will still get a lot of game time.

Imagine the wins and goal difference when we find some consistency 🙂

I wouldn't call two wins from three games with a +5 goal difference inconsistent.
