  1. When you see me use the words 'I hate Russell Martin' you might gain a shred of credibility. You have clearly decided to misinterpret my words into hatred of RM and that's your problem. The thread you refer to, if you'd care to read it properly, will tell you my main argument is that I don't agree with stadium expansion at a time when the football club is in turmoil which only got worse yesterday. I do mention RM in a critical way because his coaching and handling of the team has contributed to where we find ourselves. Carry on thinking I hate RM but I can tell you quite categorically that I don't - yes I'm glad he's gone but hatred....that's a very strong word and you shouldn't be accusing people you don't know of it based on your own misinterpretations of comments on a football forum.
  2. Vasco Matos has been mentioned before and would be an excellent choice though probably neither available or on the radar of the clowns at SR.
  3. Fair enough.
  4. I thought Ramsdale looked as though he knew - he was extremely pensive and clearly mulling something over in his mind. Ok, he'd just witnessed a car crash of a performance from his team mates but there was something more on his mind from his body language.
  5. How does Rusk set up the U21s? I'm hoping he is not conditioned to play Russball because that would be a total disaster. We need to distance ourselves well away from that style of play if we want to see improvements. Wednesday's team selection, formation and tactics will be interesting.
  6. Moyes last managed West Ham which was presumably close to their ground/training facilities so why would he buy a house in Winchester now for easy travel to London? Unless he just fancies moving.
  7. It's not hatred for the vast majority. Like others you confuse criticism with hatred.
  8. And snakeskin oil sales have dropped by 100%.
  9. Agree. And the post from the Swansea fan in which he shows his original post from the time Martin joined us is uncanny - everything he said was exactly spot on and things unfolded as he said they would. Like many of us have he claimed back then that Martin was a charlatan. I recall thinking at the time his post did ring loud alarm bells but put it down to the grumblings of a fan slagging off a departing manager but, in hindsight, how right he was.
  10. Spot on!
  11. Yeah, fair point. My scepticism was based on a feeling that SR was going to stubbornly stick with RM. His legacy is the fact that he got us promoted so credit to him for that but SR should have acted much sooner based on results and performances and that would have limited some of the damage. Now they somehow need to clear up the mess they've made but I doubt many of us have much confidence in them judging by the way they've handled things almost from day one.
  12. Hm...from someone with 25 posts to their name.
  13. Not this again.
  14. There's more chance of you waking up on the 25th December and finding Father Christmas has been.
  15. Practically all top football clubs play 4-2-3-1 but our clown decides it would be clever to bring back the diamond.
  16. So the damage RM is doing to the club, the players and the fans doesn't matter then.
  17. 10 goals against in our last two home games - let that sink in.
  18. At last you're getting it 🙂
  19. A suggestion Phil - open an entertainment zone on the fucking pitch and rather than waiting until the end of next year do it now. A start would be achieved by getting rid of the clown of a manager.
  20. Russball innit 🙂
  21. Martin looked and sounded more sorry for himself than anyone else.
  22. Moaning about the lack of response to the set back of the early goal and that we've seen this before.
  23. Players being thrown under the bus. Surprise, surprise.
  24. He'll be ok...he's got a great future - shame it won't be with us.
  25. No, I think it was actually, 'You're getting backed in the morning, backed in the morning, you're getting backed in the morning'
