No doubt Stephens had a poor start to the season and probably deserved to be dropped, but people forget how solid he looked during the unbeaten run last season, and we looked far less secure when he got injured (Bristol City at home, I think?) and Wood came in. And don't get me started on the people who chime on about how Wood starred during the unbeaten run, and we should have never broken that for shoehorn Stephens back in 🤣
