Seems Will spent weeks seeing which players would do a job for him and then picked all those who wouldn't - now he's subbed on the ones he perhaps should have started with and we are a different side.

Simple game isn't it - makes you wonder why we don't do what we are good at. Sometimes a lot is decided by how much intensity you put in from the start which is one of our long term failings - don't wait until you're 2-0 down, go for it from the first whistle.

This is my issue - he's done really well preseason, scored today yet, in all probability, someone who has done less well will almost certainly take the place he should have in next week's starting X1. Reward success not failure!

Clearly the reset has hardly got going yet. Disappointing because I was hoping a left field appointment like Will Still would already have got us looking like a totally different side but today is worrying.

That's us every year yet other clubs seem to plan, prepare and do everything better than we do.

I thought that was meant to be one of his strengths 🙂

He's quite large so should be obvious 🙂

Seems like once Fernades and Dibling are sold Will Still will be almost starting from scratch in trying to build something.

Gonna have to spend very wisely once the purse string are finally loosened. Lots to put right and improve upon.

Probably safe to say that, as usual, we will not come flying out the blocks this season. Why are we so incapable of getting a team prepared for a new season.

Not watching but comments indicate there is not much to shout about so far. Too many of the old and failed guard still getting starts so no surprise it's poor entertainment.

Another manager who fails to see the flaws in Captain Jack despite the howlers he's made so far in our friendlies. It really is quite staggering that he continues to pull the wool over their eyes. You'd think one of them would recognise how poor he is but here we are with him as first choice again.

And every season we start slowly - just saying.

Don't like the look of your proposed line up at all. Continuing last season's lack of height and strength with Archer, Fraser, Smallbone and Armstrong. Rather see Downs or Stewart up front. We will of course be bringing in new players so need to make some moves quickly to try to give them some training with the group so they can be in the side for the first game.
