He's prolific yes, but in the spl which is, apart from a few clubs, L1 standard IMO. Before that he was at Scunhorpe in L1 and the the npc, so what makes him head and shoulders better than the other strikers we've been linked with?

Disagree 100%. I do not follow the SPL at all. Neither do I follow the Italian, Spanish or any other league in europe. My exposure to players from these leagues is through the champions league and international tournaments. I don't feel that this is shocking or an exception to the norm. If this was a music forum, it'd be like chastising somebody for their lack of knowledge of the works of Steve Wilson. There are so many bands and artists out there that it'd be impossible to know about all of them. This is why clubs use scouts. Do you think managers know all the players?

Yes it was poor marking, but it was in extra time of an international final. I'm sure legs, and minds were tired, whereas Lee was a fresh sub. It was a damn good cross by the way and Lee did well by holding his position rather than rushing to the near post. You could attribute many, many premier league goals to bad marking or poor defending but the attacker still needs to take that chance and Lee, in this case, took it emphatically.
