I just read that Man United are looking to buy midfielders after last nights humiliation. I wonder if they might have taken a look at Fernandes, especially with the Amorim links. Might have been able to squeeze a bit more money out of them if we'd held on a few more days

I don't think the Fernandes deal is too bad personally. Doubled his value in a year. And judging by his performance last weekend his heart wasn't really in it, so take the money and reinvest This Caspar guy looks like a good replacement and with a high ceiling to grow into. Just a shame Fernandes chose West Ham, they look doomed.
