  1. Yeah that's our job
  2. Thought you would let it slide this time, some nice juicy bits in there. Am guessing the anonymous sources were both che and readers given they've given Jacob interviews in the last week or so.
  3. Thanks for that debrief much appreciated
  4. Hey @SuperSAINT where are you, I feel like you've not posted in ages, I'd guess your probably busy posting about the North Korean transfer window tho so understandable you've not managed a load on Ralph's replacement.
  5. Or you could say this is the Lavia or livramento signing, untested and a lot to like but needs the chance to prove it.
  6. Wait did someone just delete the athletic article i posted - boooooo
  7. Think we need 2 strikers to be honest but doubt we will get them, I'd want another hold up striker for Che and a quality finisher for all the others.
  8. We are definitely going to be buying a striker or a goal assist machine in Jan surely.
  9. Lets get the Le Harve sporting director “I watch about 50 full matches a week: Ligue 1, Ligue 2, National, U19s, U17s, N2, N3, English divisions, Italian divisions, Spanish divisions, and other championships depending on the profiles that we’re looking for. I also watch montages from matches played in Korea, Libya, or Panama. I practically watch football from day to night, especially since I don’t sleep much,” said Bodmer. https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2022/mathieu-bodmer-watches-50-football-matches-a-week/
  10. At least we should hopefully see the end of the Salisu long throw
  11. St Marys stadium as well hahaha
  12. Good tactical analysis of how he likes his teams set up. https://themastermindsite.com/2022/04/29/nathan-jones-luton-town-tactical-analysis/
  13. I really don't see the issue, we have players who pray 5 times a day, who cares about their religion, if it makes him a better version of himself then fair play. I just pray to the god of goalscorers that he helps our strikers.
  14. Should of said Sturrock
  15. Basically took them from L2 to championship play offs with a tiny amount of cash. Even when he went to stoke he had luton up there near the top of L1 that mick harford just had to follow the formula for the rest of year then he came back and saved them from relegation with a few games left after jones got sacked. I too am underwhelmed name wise but lets not denigrate a bloke who has done an excellent job at luton. edit - I see he also is meant to speak fluent spanish
  16. Bro we need all the help we can get, lets get some others that cover the other religious bases and see if that helps our team.
  17. Biggest shock is how many of us know Luton supporters hahahaha
  18. My Luton mate. my sources telling me nathan jones leaving and finalising compensation and who will leave with him will end in tears and his teams play shit football Irony alert in the last bit.
  19. Ralph was exactly what we needed after pellegrino and hughes, a manager with a clear plan and had us playing attacking football. I think essentially his was of playing football then become longterm incompatible with our budget under Gao and we had to shop in the 1 pound shop for too long. Now the irony is that with this being the 1st summer we have spent a lot of money, he was let down by someone (guessing semmens) not getting that top striker after mara signed which was the priority signing as our striker options massively degraded with Ings leaving.
  20. https://www.southamptonfc.com/news/2022-11-07/southampton-football-club-part-company-with-ralph-hasenhuttl-statement
  21. if we are paying 6mil for ralph then to be honest we could get a lot of very very good coaches. More from pep on Gallardo - “What Gallardo has done with River is incredible. Some things are inexplicable. Every year three coaches are named as the best in the world, and he's never among them. I can't understand it." Ok I have convinced myself we are getting him, I am now preparing to be underwhelmed
  22. Get him a Lamborghini Gallardo as a company car
  23. Gallardo's contract ends in Dec River has finished their season but have 2 friendlies to play in nov with the last one being the 13th Nov. He has already done his big goodbye in the stadium back in Oct https://www.batimes.com.ar/news/sports/river-plate-bids-farewell-to-el-muneco-gallardo-in-explosive-style.phtml One of the great successes of Gallardo's time in charge has been the coach's ability to reinvent the side, despite losing big stars each year to club's in leagues with greater finances. "They sell him players and he's still there. He recycles himself and continues," Spanish coach Pep Guardiola said recently, praising Gallardo's skill. If we got Gallardo then I am firmly behind this appointment - he's won 14 trophies in his career.
