Nope. Tipped to finish 16th out of 16. Record so far, P5 W3 D2, including the derby against Malmo. Loving it. In real life they were relegated this year and according to Wikipedia, were known for playing unattractive football and were relegated the one season when they decided to play a passing game. Iiinteresting... Piddling little fanbase, it's actually better for the club economically to play friendlies against big name teams away from home. Normally if I'm managing a club with tiny finances I host a load of big guns at home in pre-season, this time around I'm going away and getting appearance money.

According to Sony, the warranty is for one year, I bought it from Amazon in March 2009. Trouble is, I wanted it for my graduation on Friday, and I'm guessing I won't be able to afford any repairs. Pretty certain in fact.

Yeah that occurred to me too. I was told on the phone that it was the camera or the battery though. I am also suspicious as my old flatmate had the same charger but always asked to use mine - I'm wondering if his was broken and he switched it with mine. It also doesn't explain how the camera one minute said a brand new battery had 150 minutes then the next refused to turn on, or why the camera won't turn on when connected to a power source.

Anyone able to shed some light on this? I've got a Sony Cybershot DSC-W220, I've had it about two years and barely used it. My parents borrowed it when they went on holiday and found that it just didn't hold any charge in the battery and it would last a matter of minutes. I bought a new battery, thinking it was a simple case of the old one being knackered. No such luck - I got the new battery today, inserted it into the camera and it worked, 150 minutes of life apparently. I then turned it off, it wouldn't turn on again. I put it in the charger, which had the yellow light on for about five minutes, I put the battery back in and it turned on. I then read it might be an internal memory problem so I should take out the memory card, turn on again and format the internal memory. The camera didn't turn on so I couldn't even get that far. It now doesn't work at all - even when plugged into my laptop which usually powers it battery or not. I called Sony's technical support, they say I need to send it off for a repair. I go to the website to register the repair, the register repair form is not working. Any camera boffins have any ideas? I paid £170 for this two years ago and have had next to no use out of it at all so I'm really not happy.

Another day, another TWO injuries in one game. P*ss take.

I've just managed the only part-time club in the top flight, with the smallest budget, lowest attendances and worst players to a top half finish. I've won the Scots third and second divisions in successive seasons with Berwick Rangers. Excuse me whilst I ignore your suggestions... Yes anyway, I finished in the top half, somehow, but the second season is a nightmare, no one will sign for me at all, regardless of quality. No one wants to play part time football in the top flight and I can only offer wages of up to £400. Not great when the highest earner gets £10,000. Might just leave Sarpsborg 08 for something else. They refuse to go full time so I refuse to manage them.

And for the record, there just are too many injuries. I count myself lucky that I can finish a game without an injury and it's not because I'm overworking my players etc etc. There are just too many - FACT.

My season has turned into a nightmare. My players are f*cking shocking. No matter what I do, they can't spot a pass to save their lives, can't finish, can't just clear a f*cking ball out of defence, defend... They're pathetic. Three games to go, eight points clear of relegation, four defeats in a row. 0 - 5, 1 - 4, 1 - 2 and 0 - 1. Just lost against a rival in the last minute when my striker should have scored a one on one. I'm livid. I'm transfer listing half my squad, they're just pathetic.

Right, I've encountered a bit of a problem. I can't sign ANYONE because the contract screen has all its options greyed out. Not helpful at all.

Glad to hear it - sounds like you had similar problems to me. Whatever happened to putting a CD in and just playing a game? I beat Fredrikstad in the derby, wins are hard to come by so I was delighted at that one. We've just made it through to the cup quarter finals which is a big plus, unfortunately this game's overzealous approach to dishing out the injuries has cost me four months of my best striker and two months of my best defender. Speaking of defenders, I need new ones, and quick. Mine are all sh*te.

Don't know what I was worried about! An away win in the relegation six pointer, 66% possession, nine shots, six on target. Nice.

Just got my first win with my relegation battlers three games in. A 5 - 3 win against champions Rosenborg with my tried and tested formation. Beautiful. I looked at my team and they just had no strength or physical attributes in general, so I sold a promising player on a high wage which gave me a lot of money to play with, I brought in a load of decent players. Hi ho hi ho, up the table we go!

On the subject of legends in FM but not in real life Alex Nimely-Tchuimeni used to be a sensation, didn't make much of him against us the other week...

Who on EARTH would make that mistake? That's INCREDIBLY stupid. Quite! Though I'm yet to hear about Lasse Qvist in real life...

Riiight. I've decided I'm going to stick with the tactic that I found so successful, I've discovered if I adjust both the tempo and time wasting through the game depending on how it's going, things change. I'm going to take over at Sarpsborg '08, tipped to finish bottom of the Norwegian top flight and see what happens. I'm aiming to sign players with a minimum of ten in eight attributes: concentration, determination, team work, work rate, technique, anticipation, creativity and decisions. Here we go again...!

No thank you Mr. SuperMikey, I'm going to persevere - mine's a 4-3-3 anyway, and just look at how saintscottofthenortham is doing. The weird thing is, it still works a treat on Berwick Rangers and we play good stuff, the same stuff that got me all my winning campaigns with Wimbledon in FM11. Managing abroad though, even in the top flight with a better team than my Berwick side, it struggles big time. Annoying when I want to manage in Scandinavia. It's not as if this tactic hasn't taken sh*t teams to the top either, I've used it with Barnet and Cambridge, I got both into the Championship with successive promotions. Utter confusion at the moment, every time I say I've had enough I go back and try again though. Apart from now, it's 2:30am and time for bed!

Pretty convinced my amazing tactic is no longer working with this new patch and the team talk guide I used has also gone up the swanny. Gutted!

People using my tactic... Have you noticed that it doesn't work after the new patch (12.0.4) ? Just a thought but lately it's just not working for me at all.

Nope, we're a part-time club so I don't bother with setting up my own schedules - even then, I make sure I never have training levels at 'heavy'. I've posted about the problem on the SI bugs forum, no response yet. I got bored very quickly with the Swedish second division, so I'm beginning a new game still in Scandinavia. This time I'm going to take worst team in each top flight of Norway, Sweden and Denmark and try to win the title with each. I'm starting off with Norway's Randaberg IL of the Norweigan second division, tipped to finish 16th out of 16 teams despite being in the top division last season. Sounds like a challenge! I might see if I can get Claus as my assistant manager... Oh and once again, Steam wants to update with the 36MB patch that NEVER finishes downloading. Stupid, STUPID thing.
