  1. I truly hope you are wrong John, however there are indications that you may well be right.
  2. You seem to have confused dulldays with a season ticket holder.
  3. Er...... so selling LESS season tickets because there is no installment scheme is a good thing? Not informing the fans of their intention to do so is a good thing? Please explain how the club is doing the right thing or will you do your usual trick of ignoring the point?

  5. I shall be getting another credit card and transferring my balance to the new one and buying my ST etc etc...... But you're missing the point mate. And I thought you were exactly the kind of person that would have been shouting this from the rooftops......... They are breaking their promises. Customer charter......... MY AR5E!
  6. Last year there was no increase in my ST price. Rightly so. We had dropped to the 3rd tier. Don't get me wrong TDD. I don't begrudge paying the 12% increase (ok, I do.... ever so slightly). However I do think the club has made a major blunder here, and is alienating fans. All that puff in the Charter is now being dismissed (that was only for half of last season) and we are seeing the club going back on promises that it made to us. I am struggling to find a suitable Orwellian quote that would sum things up, but I'm sure someone will think of one.
  7. Over-reaction Ponty. The point is that the club has not communicated it's intention (as it promised in the charter) to do away with the installment scheme (which it lauded in the charter) until the very same day that STs go on sale. Yes, lots of people will move heaven and earth to secure their ST (myself included) but there are many who won't be able to. As far as price hikes go......... My ST has increased by over 12%. The current rate of inflation is around 5%? Therefore my ST has increased by more than DOUBLE the rate of inflation.
  8. Maybe Markus and Nicola have been knocking around with Claus and have run up a bit of a tab with their coke dealer?
  9. Most other clubs have had season ticket pricing in place for months Alps. And just about every other club has managed to organise an installment plan. You'd think our Swiss banker could rustle up something, but obviously he doesn't think it a priority. I have resisted openly criticising the delay in releasing details because I assumed that the club were waiting to get everything perfect. You think the club are going to comment about the lack of installment plan? They haven't even told the drones in the ticket office what is going on, so do you really expect them to tell us? As for taking out a bank loan........ I'd love to, however the banks are pretty reluctant to do this for those of us who have just been hit with redundancy. Even my credit card reshuffle is looking a bit shaky mate. PS. Hope the family are all well.
  10. Thanks for pointing that out Ron.
  11. The decision to scrap the installment plan is what has rubbed people up the wrong way. During a recession, such a decision could be regarded as crass stupidity by the club.
  12. I shall be renewing but I will have to; a) do the credit card reshuffle, or b) borrow from mates, or c) commit some crimes. Considering the long wait, I am astounded at what a shambles this whole situation is. I was expecting that the delay would mean a highly organised and even handed approach to season ticket sales. Instead, we seem to have a complete farce, that has been planned by a p1ss head on the back of a beer mat. I think we can safely say that the 'honeymoon period' is well and truly OVER!
  13. Yes, all very helpful mate. I'm due to do my credit card reshuffle anyway. However, I think you should seriously consider whether it's time to stop digging that hole for yourself. You're beginning to sound rather patronising and I'm sure some of our fellow posters may be thinking you're a posh tw*t. No offence intended.
  14. Sorry Mr Goebbels, I'll keep my opinion to myself in future.
  15. Agreed. Official Saints merchandise but unofficial England merchandise (no 3 lions).
  16. £20 for a t-shirt?
  17. 7/2 in a 24 horse race?
  18. NC reads this forum. Basically he will do everything we suggest. Nicola - Lap dancers and cocaine for Block 5 please. Chop chop!

    But true.
  20. Oh dear, we are confused aren't we? You have muddled up 'race' and 'creed'. Creed relates to religious belief and has nothing to do with race at all. You also suggest that if an Englishman insults a German, this is racist. Wrong! The English share the same racial heritage as the Germans and the French. Anyway, I digress. I maintain that in your original post you were racially stereotyping Africans. And I did say that if you're black, I'll eat my bowler hat etc......... I am still confident that I will not be dining on anything other than pasta this evening. Pip pip!

I have sat through it all. The first series started out with such promise; all those enigmatic mysteries were so thought provoking. But ultimately it turned out to be a crock of shyte and a waste of my time. Perhaps some people will argue that it was a 'Twin Peaks' for the noughties.......but IMHO David Lynch could have resolved things better by crimping out a large curly turd.
  22. Terribly sorry old bean. I assumed that when you used the term 'Massa' in your witty(?) little pastiche you were racially stereotyping an African person, whereas in actual fact, you were.......er........ racially stereotyping an African person. The term 'Massa' is a derivation of Master and as such implies subservience. I was intruiged by your sentence "Racist" is not purely "black" people. What exactly does that mean? Oh, and yes, I AM assuming you're a white man. If you're black, I'll eat my bowler hat, umbrella and briefcase.
  23. I refuse to buy Echo dross.
  24. Massa? Oh dear. It's 1970s man with his outdated racial stereotypes. Did you enjoy 'Love Thy Neighbour'?
