  1. have a look under your bed?
  2. away changing room at SMS?
  3. given that the bank transfer would have happened a day ago, pay day is not now a critical day.
  4. Busy day at SMS or just another gentle snooze waiting for the call from a mystery buyer?
  5. Administration has gone on a long time now. At the moment the creditors have got nothing in repayment of the debts. So is Fry any good at his job?
  6. tease! can you pm us instead?
  7. did you edit this one?
  8. a load of wealthy blokes? fat blokes?
  9. This happy state of affairs will not last long. The new owners will upset the Lowe faction, the LMc faction or the MJ faction etc within a few hours!
  10. sorry, 100 lines for me I will put a capital letter at the ...... I will ....... I will .......
  11. some great moderating on this thread!
  12. estate agents?
  13. perhaps there will be a WGS connection afterall? Puts 2+2 together and gets 17
  14. Also the marketing people need to consider joint offers with other businesses eg spend £100 at Southapton B&Q and get a voucher for a free ticket at SMS.
  15. I dont know what the cost price of a replica shirt is. Even if we cannot give them away - sell them at cost price. The end of last season offer of 2 away shirts for £15 was great. My sons mates were disapointed not to get one, even though they only really started going to home matches at the end of last season. I am sure with some creative marketing and great deals the club can generate a huge amount of interest again and people turning up for matches. The marketing director needs to think - there are 500,000 people who live in the wider Southampton area - lets grab their attension. It will not be easy in a recession but football is a great product.
  16. and thats the issue. For many who have grown up watching the premiership, the thought of LO and others is hardly inspiring. No disrepect to LO and the others. The club needs to help fans get back in the habit of going to SMS in large numbers. Cheap tickets helps (although is not the only thing - home wins also helps!)
  17. Any offer needs to be seen in the light of a 5 year plan. One of the tasks has to be to fill SMS next season to create the fans of the future. Clearly the results on the pitch will make a difference to the size of the crowd, but Norwich have done it with their 18,000 ST holders for next season. One option is to make ST prices really good (particulary for certain parts of the ground eg Chapel & Chapel corners) but leave match day prices reasonably high. Also so innoviative type tickets eg - buy 6 (for different matches) before 31/8/09 and get 1 free - ticket for first home match free to everybody who bought tickets for the last home match of last season. - free replica shirt will purchase of season ticket - members get 2 free tickets - all fans from Amesbury go free! (lol) a full SMS will be much better than 12,000 attendance, even if many people are getting discounted prices.
  18. When Saints come out of administration, they will need to quickly start selling season tickets. They need some great ideas (and / or a inspiring manager / owner) to sell as many season tickets as last year (9000?). Perhaps they can make an offer similar to Burnley. http://www.tiscali.co.uk/news/newswire.php/news/reuters/2009/05/22/sport/burnley-offering-free-season-tickets-if-promoted.html&template=/sport/feeds/story-template-reuters.html Equally Burnley's kids ST prices are very good. Under 8s free 8-11 £30 12-15 £60 16-18 £75 What would be a good offer by Saints for ST prices?
  19. WGS coming back. Good things dont happen to Saints
  20. thats ruled out about 30 million people in the UK. Its a bit like a Guess Who game. Does Morph wear at hat?
  21. what chance? (no chance!)
  22. Any half decent bidder will do an assessemnt of the competition and the resorces they have. The administrator does not have time to waste, so only, at this stage, be dealing with serious bids.
  23. but when is our 11th hour?
