I disagree The Football league will have deadlines with dates to meet.
-

Season tickets - What it the actual law stopping us selling these?
Amesbury Saint replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
why not start a registration scheme - collecting names and addresses of those who would like a season ticket -
Agreed. I did not expect or require any personal thanks, I would have liked to have seen a write up on the OS.
-
perhaps in the long term but lets just batter them and win ugly next season
-
agreed I would be very happy if we are top of the league and everybody is criticising us for poor quality aggressive football. we can play nice football when we are in the World Club Final!
-
as long as we are winning who cares about the standard of football

Pinnacle Led Bid Latest- Premiership in Five Years

Hull have shown it is possible. The real question is, once you get there can you stay up -
what needs to happen is that the takeover is completed by then and the new manager installed.

The team to get us up from league 1 compared to a team to get us up from CCC will be very different. The manager needs to have experience / understanding of both -
perhaps I should qualify the statement by put the third point first and say I dont mind who takes us over as long as deilver a successful and financially ok Saints.

Cant get the Echo, so tease me a little more please!

but lets not forget there are a lots of Christians as well. - 2 billion according to a website I just looked at. 32% of world population If everyone spent £1 each year on SFC we would be the biggest club in the world! -
what can we expect (not the names of people) - vision - level of investment - players
-
why dont we just build them a block of student type flats near the House of Commons. No second homes needed.
-

-

I dont actually mind who takes over Saints. I dont actually know any of the characters involved all I want is Saints to be successful and financially ok
-
makes you wonder how many clubs are close to the same position.

Interesting point that. I suspect that there are lots of people who went to matches whilst in the premiership but have drifted away. In Amesbury friends of my son - two 16 year olds, both Saints fans, stopped going when then fathers stoped going a few years back. I provided transport and they saw 3 home matches at the end of the seaon and they are hooked on Saints. Also both wanted to buy the BOGOFF offer on away shirt but the club had sold out their size. Saints gain 2 fans. If the club can be effective in their marketing both in and around Southampton and we can sort out transport then the fans will come back. Even in a bad season.
