It's not just the sacking though, it's the timing and how it was done. Incredibly unfair to Nigel at this time and reportedly not telling him before he saw it on the TV is disgusting.
Happy having a club in whatever guise as long as that club has integrity and morals. Treating people like this and quite frankly I would rather not have a club.
Fair enough MlG but ultimately it doesn't matter what you say. The majority of the fan base will make their voices heard on Monday and protest against the despicable treatment of Adkins.
Precisely. We need to show our opposition to this disgraceful move if only to show the rest of the footballing family that we in no way endorse this sort of behaviour. Not in the name of SFC you arsehole.
And sadly it means that any subsequent success we get will be tainted. Under Nigel I felt close to my club again but now I can only see a future where I feel detached from them. It must be how Chelsea fans feel the majority of the time. It's horrible...
TBH I am hoping this now goes totally wrong as it would be a massive f*ck you to the poison dwarf and may dissuade other clubs from doing something so idiotic in the future. If we get some success now or stay up then it's almost validating this pathetic decision.
That is an important point. Not a good start from the new guy plotting for weeks about this job and says a lot about his character. If the roles were reversed do you imagine Adkins would do the same thing if he was approached to take over? Not a chance IMO.
