  1. You are completely correct. Please please do not think that hitting your child is something that is acceptable in British culture. The vast vast majority would consider it abhorrent.
  2. Even if it is legal or illegal is hitting your child without leaving a mark for whatever reason right?
  3. Look how paranoid they are!
  4. Doubt he would train with them when he can just train here with better facilities. Unless he was signing of course.
  5. Real admiration for her. Arguable that she isn't world class though considering she is a world champion and has a silver and gold in the olympics. Does save it for the championships though.
  6. Would be an amazing signing for Bournemouth TBH. He can do better.
  7. Put much better than me. Exactly.
  8. It's very sad that you felt you had no option other than to be violent towards you children to get them to do what you want.
  9. That statement is just ridiculous to me. In this day and age, there is no reason at all for parents to use mild corporate punishment or any sort of physical violence towards children. I was smacked as a child BTW, wooden spoon on the back of the legs.
  10. Tbf isn't she fourth?
  11. IMO people who smack as a last resort do not have the parenting skills necessary to get their child to behave through non violent means
  12. Oh I see. Sorry I misunderstood what you said.
  13. What an idiotic thing to say. You can see why he got knocked out
  14. Yeah was cool. Michael Johnson is a legend of the sport and did it all clean
  15. What everyone who aren't rabid lefties are thinking.
  16. You just dislike him because he doesn't like scousers. He just says what everyone else is thinking.
  17. Except that Boris is highly intelligent unlike Berlosconi.
  18. A strange editorial piece without a single shred of evidence that the whole Boris persona is stage managed. Even if it were, he's hugely more likeable and interesting than the average Labour MP and his opinions make sense. Pathetically trying to claim he has no friends- there is no evidence for that claim. What ridiculous bias.
  19. Well I would certainly hope so.
  20. TBF she is only a youngster.
  21. How was it? Do all three promoted teams routinely stay up then?
  22. Promoted teams routinely get relegated, often the year after promotion. Last year was a big exception.
  23. Yep. He seemed very tired to me (as he said) but was also happy with silver which suggests to me that he knows he wasn't at his best and went into the final hoping rather than expecting- hence why he wasn't upset as he normally is. Good achievement for murray anyway as I said and I hope they win the doubles.
  24. I disagree. As he said, he was totally drained and tired.
