Fry fiddles (not in the corrupt sense) while Rome burns

He starts his opening post with "To me" seems pretty obvious I would think. -

So hypothetically I know one of the bidders personally. The personally tell me that they have made a bid and are getting a bit fed up by some of Mark Fr's behaviour. That isn't a fact if I then report that that is what they said? No saying that happened but I hope my point is clearer now. -

I just don't thinks its fair to have a go at people for holding a different opinion. As I have said previously, Nick has certain contacts and tries to share what he can. I can stomach most of it but hen people just dismiss it as ridiculous that annoys me, especially when I believe it is anything but. With regards your second point, if a bidder does act unrealistically and pulls out he could have potentially be our ONLY bidder. Then we are left with nothing and the club folds. Far better to have an unrealistic bidder runing the club than no club at all I would have thought. Any way, I think the MLT bid is the one in pole position. I hope they can finalise their bid either today or tomorrow and this conversation will be meaningless. One thing I will say is that people need to be read a bit more and don't be so quick to criticise or poke fun. Like it or not some posters are involved in this and do know people actually making a bid (I don't include myself in this!). Lets hope we get taken over by the end of the week xxx:smt060 Love to you all. -

Not really. Fry's job is to get as much money for the creditors as possible. He is perfectly within his rights to hold out for money and do everything he can to achieve a maximum return. In doing this there is potentially a situation where he could annoy a bidder who eventually pulls out or lowers their original bid. It's a plausible scenario and one that hopefully will not happen. -

You said Nicks opinion was based on nothing like facts. His opinion was that the one bid we currently have could potentially be put off by Fry delaying/moving the goalposts. This is information and FACTS which you can gain through knowing the people involved. You don't have to know everything or be in Frys team to find something like that out. -

You assume. -
It's a loan and Fry is trying to get any bidders to pay it back.

Because Jan and Wotte showed that if you don't have that you fail! At the very least you need a decent scout.

If they got annoyed with Fry messing them around they could well lower their offer even if they don't pull out. If that happens then there's risk of further points deductions. That's the worry I think. -

Nick stop posting and stick to PMs. There's nothing wrong with nick having an opinion. God people on here are morons sometimes. -

Of course but he has to get a balance between geting the most money and not putting off existing bidders leaving us with nothing. As I said I hope he gets it right. As fans we should be hoping that he gets the lowest price possible because it means more money to spend on the team. -

I've heard he's been mucking around playing games to get the most money. I hope it doesn't backfire. -

If there are competing bids then how are the buyers in the driving seat? Especially if there is a limit to what the creditors will accept and if CVAs are brought into it. -

What about the people involved with bids? -

My location is a direct quote complete with the misspelling. I'll change it at some point but it isn't a particularly pressing concern. I'm not admitting to any ITK stuff on here I'm just struggling to see why people are so quick to jump down peoples throats. If I remember correctly nickh has a few contacts at the club and has been proved right in the past. -

It's OK Phil. People don't want to listen to perfectly logical views, they prefer to snipe at people who have given opinions. -

Fry at barclays is the saints fan who allegedly sanctioned our initial over spending. -

If he wants to he can make the process longer than it needs to be. -

I agree. Every day he stay the bigger his eventual bill is. It's in his interest to string it out as long as possible. -
Might have to give them a call and inform them of Shane's misdeeds...

Mj's team made a bid which was accepted but then fry wanted more money
-
But if you read the rest of the article it also said that he was prepared to put in his 2 million if Wilde and Lowe stepped down.

I thought it was interesting and worth posting TBH. Passes the time.
