Getting round a table with strong enforcement of any agreement and effective safeguards in place is how it's going to end. I'd like to hear from someone who disagrees with that what scenario they consider to be more likely.

That's a cop out in my opinion. It's very clear that some decisions have been taken for ideological reasons and not because they will make any significant amount of money and in fact may actually lose money in some cases. A lot of the choices made are political choices and not because they are forced to do so.

The players must absolutely love him. Easy ride, doesn't get on their backs of they lose as long as they do what he's asked them to, still getting paid and get a friendly older brother type instead of a manager. Great for a summer camp but completely useless for inspiring a team to win and survive.

No it won't. That will be the case if we don't go up within two seasons but at least the first year down you'd expect us to be able to keep some quality and be around the best in the division.
