I can 100% see Leeds winning against Leicester next week which means we have to win our next two. Do that and Leicester will be starting to get nervous if we are five behind them and Leeds 6 behind. Any further slip on their part and any one of three teams could be above them. Pressure does funny things to teams, particularly if you've been top all season.

Shame we couldn't have beaten Bristol. If we'd won that and our game in hand the gap would have been down to 5.
-
I think if you're going to accuse someone of playing the poster and not the post, then soggy is pretty much the main culprit.
-
You've always been a true believer, even when I wavered.

It's back on lads!

Not sure about that. Burnley pissed the league last year playing a similar style and now they are down the bottom and about to be relegated again. There's a giant difference between championship and prem.
-
Well then I don't think sky categorise clubs in that fashion. Not sure why you think they would.
-
I would imagine we attract significantly more eyeballs than Bournemouth for example.
-
Not sure you can compare saints to Bournemouth, Luton and Brentford. Palace maybe and possibly Brighton.
-
I want to see how Downes, THB and maybe even Brooks and KWP fare together in the prem. Robbing us of the chance of seeing that is why promotion this year is so vital.

Kudos to Stephens as well who was very good in an unfamiliar position. Much preferred him there to Manning...

That sounds like a good thing rather than a bad thing ha.
-
Must admit, I was pretty worried about them. I could eat those words...
-
Badly need a second here. Good start though.
-
But confused why we didn't bring in another lb if we weren't going to play Meghoma.
-
Probably see us smash them now but on paper that's a rotten lineup.
-
Place your bets. Downes in or out? I say out.

I think in skne ways it's simpler than that. Many on the left define the world through a series of relationships between an oppressor and the oppressed. If there's some inequality they explain that because those who have or are less have been opressed by someone or something else. They see Israel as an oppressor and so that means that Israel and it's citizens can never truly be victims.

I'd gladly call soggy anti-semitic to his face. He's made more than one post on here that obviously cleared that threshold even if some of his other posts have been milder. There's a big difference between criticising the Israeli government or the actions of the IDF and some of the stuff he's been saying on here.
-
Maybe. But it eliminates the immediate threat for a decent number of years to come. Presumably Israel will use the intervening years to protect themselves further to reduce the likelihood of repeat attacks.

I reckon at the conclusion of this they'll have been pretty successful at crippling Hamas operations in Gaza and certainly getting rid of things like all the tunnels. Let's hope they get the remainder of the hostages back too. I expect if Hamas had simply surrendered a few months back and handed back the hostages then the international community would rightly have prevented Israel from doing anything further. If Hamas really cared about civilians and doing the right thing of course.
-
I reckon they thought they'd get a bit of a response but not on the scale that they have got. They'd largely got away with smaller things in the past.

If it works he could walk into any vacancy of that type in world football.
-
Yes but it's united. It's not about shafting us, he'd be mad not to take the opportunity.

Exactly. We either go up and look for someone else or we fail to go up and we've got enough notice to get someone else decent in.
