  1. Awful. We should scrape another 4 points to stay up but I fear for next season.
  2. We have looked absolutely shit so far.
  3. If I'm honest I think it's going to be a draw. I'd love a win so we can enjoy the rest of the season and play a few youngsters etc. But with our poor form I think a draw is most likely. I hope ratboy doesn't play well.
  4. I think everyone realises that Ings is off in the summer.
  5. Jermaine Wright
  6. Shame about motd. Virtually unlistenable.
  7. Great use of "toe rag" in that article. In all seriousness though I'm glad they found someone who did this. Absolutely terrible behaviour.
  8. If the argument is that racism needs removing quicker on social media then I can sign up to that campaign. That's not what's being asked for though. Any proposed solution to social media is completely unworkable, I'm yet to see a sensible solution.
  9. Due to the moral panic, abuse on social media is widely publicised every single time there is any abuse of a black footballer on social media, even if the person doing it is a 14 year old spotty kid. That doesn't make it a racism problem any more than wider society. What it means is that everyone posts online and some people say disgusting stuff on social media. If once we get back into stadia we have hoardes of football fans chanting racist abuse at the likes of Rashford then I'll agree with you. That won't happen though because there's not a greater racism problem in UK football than society at large.
  10. So frustrating how we put up a fight and then throw it all away in the second half. Depressing.
  11. Yeah I have to agree. I think LGBTQ+ month is a stupid idea but as it doesn't affect me I simply ignore it, avoid anything advertising it, don't buy products to do with it etc. Others who love it are then free to go nuts over it if they like. It's not an example of anything going mad. It's got enough corporations signed up to it that it must attract and fair amount of support. Good luck to them.
  12. I haven't really seen anything about it this year which is great and exactly how it should be.
  13. Yes I'd say that recent form is normally a decent indicator of how you might perform in the next few games. Just because we ended up doing a fair bit worse doesn't change that. It's an indicator not a certainty.
  14. Probably because I would say that our recent form is a better indicator of how we are likely to do than our form from months ago.
  15. I think that's unfair. I don't think we'll go down but what I said was that we are in an alarming slump and that if it continues for a few more games I could start to get nervous. I certainly hope that things pick up before next season, sheffield United have shown what can happen when you go into a ebw season off the back of poor form.
  16. You'd like to think we'd get another ten points this season but if we lost something like the next 4 I'd start to panic a bit.
  17. I know it's mad to think this way but stranger things have happened now Fulham are winning. If Fulham go on a little run and we keep losing then it could get very nervy.
  18. That's my point. There seems to be real issues with protecting leads and the longer it goes on the bigger the issue is going to be.
  19. Really starting to think that we might be starting to have a bit of a problem with Ralph.
  20. For me that's our worst loss of the season. Despite scoring twice we were mostly terrible and the worst bit is we actually had some players back. I'd seriously consider giving forster a crack.
  21. Cracking team under the circumstances. Can't be worried about that coyr.
  22. It literally spells out why many people voted to leave. The idea that a big powerful nation like Germany should hobble themselves and let people in their country die just because smaller nations don't have the resources is ridiculous.
  23. Of course a state educated black footballer could. He didn't though.
  24. Is that the response they want? To have something reported and then have those people banned? I don't think it is as that mostly happens anyway. What they want is for the abuse not to occur in the first place but that's an impossibility and those in charge need to understand that. And I agree, Rashford's twitter writer has played a blinder again
  25. Fair comment. It almost seems like Wright is saying that if he had known what would happen with the sentence that he wouldn't have forgiven him?
