Lol. Poor old soggy.

Tbf I've always said I'd prefer some form of proportional representation but I doubt some on here would be so vociferous about it had Labour just won a majority...
-
It's crazy. They've had people telling them for years what the problems are and they've ignored them and they continue to ignore them after an absolute trouncing. They deserve everything that get and will continue to get at this rate.
-
Better for "most of us." Define most of us.
-
It's a stupid argument to make. If we had proportional representation the votes would have been completely different
-
Amazing listening to some of the Corbynistas explaining away this historic loss as solely down to brexit and the media. They just don't get it, they will never admit the problems with corbyn and their approach. I'm not sure how Labour is going to be able to get rid of these people.
-
You still don't understand. I think some of you never will.
-
I haven't, I think even if that is true its a very small number. I have remainder friends who think the right and democratic thing to do is to honour the result of the original referendum. One of them voted Conservative despite voting to remain because he believes that democracy is more important
-
Tbf they can't deny you didn't call it...
-
We don't need it confirmed, it was decisive the first time and only those who lost want another go at it.

Cheer up. #classicdom

It's the height of hilarity that you of all people would accuse someone of being blinkered considering how you've been acting throughout the entirety of this election campaign. Pipe down, get some self reflection and get out of your social media echo chamber because you clearly aren't as smart as you think you are. You've been dealt a crushing defeat, learn to deal with it.
-
There's very clearly a load of Labour voters who thought they were going to do much better because they have wrapped themselves in their social media echo chambers. They are now shocked because it didn't go the way all their associates were telling them it would.
-
Good post. I think when we look back at this the social media factor and how it doesn't tally with the result will be one of the most interesting things.
-
I think that's now beyond doubt.
-
Looks like all those pages of posts about how horrendous and awful Johnson was failed to resonate. Not sure you had your finger on the pulse of the electorate the way you thought you did. Twitter and your Facebook feed isn't real life.
-
I think it's great. They've spent years now spitting in the face of people who voted to leave and having behind closed doors meetings to thwart brexit. They deserve to lose.
-
Boris owes a lot of gratitude to Theresa. Without her utter incompetence Labour would never have dared to run the campaign they did.
-
Just absolutely mental. Hard left agendas and socialist policies have been soundly rejected by the British public. A second brexit referendum has been soundly rejected and corbyn has been rejected.
-
Excellent news.
-
That doesn't answer any of the questions I asked. I asked what you would do if you were in charge and if you would change any policies.
-
Well yes that is obvious but what about after corbyn leaves? Change policies? Or keep similar policies with a more acceptable face? Is it important to you that Labour get elected? If so seems obvious to me that they need a change of direction, however painful that may be for some who love where they have gone.

Being serious Jonnyboy, if you were in charge of labour now what would you do?
-
Little Owen Jones melting down, Lammy and Jess Philips up in arms, Bercow looking like a squashed toad. Just glorious.

Just messaged my Jewish friends. They are incredibly relieved and so are all their friends. Proud of the British public tonight, I knew they wouldn't let the Jewish people down.
