  1. Yet more deluded talk about their away attendance.. PC, i completely agree, people were saying that our attendances would drop dramatically when we went down to league 1, our average attendances to date in League 1 (12,391) are only 20% lower than in the Championship the previous year, i expect that the crowd numbers will drop further when we get relegated to League 2, but if we suffer another 20% drop we will be at about 10,000 average. The average attendance in league 2 last year was 4,405 with the highest average being Bradford at around about 10,000 so we should be right up there in crowd numbers as long as people still keep coming ! What will be telling is our away attendance, as that should be well beyond the capability of most League 2 clubs to deal with comfortably !
  2. The only quality in truely awful game is coming from Walsall. 80 mins and the skates have a shot on target.....
  3. Once again the taxis must have been busy taking the 'massive' away following to Walsall. Our midweek game we virtually filled the away end, truely lamentable support from the blue very few.
  4. So given Boruc's display then in the first 10 mins it will be Gazza in goal for the next game. Boruc was crap today, dropped 2 easy balls in the first couple of minutes, his kicking was woefull and he was at fault for the Arsenal goal. GET RID.
  5. The only atmosphere was created by Saints fans, the home fans must think they go to a library not a football ground, really did not hear them even when they scored -truely appalling. Lucky we were not 2 or 3 down in first half which seemed to pass us by really. Davis at fault for their goal, should have done much better. Second half was much much better and got into their faces good chances for Puncheon, Lambert and Ramierz. Schwartzer very close to carrying the ball over the line from a Ramierz shot, got a deserved goal and did think we could go on and win the game, then came the free kick from which Hangeland nearly scored. Overall a good performance and a deserved point. Stand outs. Shaw - once again a solid game Puncheon - did OK but do wish he would take people on down the outside instead of coming inside all the time Schniederlin - very good in midfield Not so good Davis in first half - better in second half Cork in first half - far better in second half MOTM - probably just Shaw for his overall performance.
  6. Got this via e-mail from the Fulham website having registered for tickets in the neutral zone. Dear supporter, Fulham FC’s Boxing Day fixture against Southampton at Craven Cottage will go ahead as scheduled. With industrial action disrupting public transport networks in the capital on Boxing Day (Wed 26th Dec), supporters are advised to plan travel in advance for Fulham’s fixture with Southampton that afternoon (3pm). Fans should schedule a journey that allows for probable tube closures and very limited services by rail. The Club would recommend that supporters continue to closely monitor Transport for London updates for further information that might affect their plans. Putney rail station will be closed and there are widespread line closures across the network in the capital. Updates can be found on http://www.nationalrail.co.uk. All local bus routes will be operating to a Sunday service timetable. Information on bus routes that serve Craven Cottage can be found on the Transport for London website at http://www.tfl.gov.uk. Important information for fans travelling by car can be found on the Hammersmith & Fulham Council website at http://www.lbhf.gov.uk. Please note that matchday car parking restrictions apply in zones X&Y. Turnstiles open at 1.30pm and fans are advised to allow plenty of time for their journey in order to arrive early. Thank you for your support, Fulham Football Club
  7. Or is he saying they know we are $hit, you know we are $hit and I know we are $hit
  8. Seemed to confirm on Solent sports news at 0820 that he is out for the Xmas games at least.
  9. They have been putting money in since October. Source - the horses mouth!!
  10. And they came in the post the other day.
  11. He is only part of one syndicate, ie he is paying £100 (or whatever the share is) to be part of it. He has not bought the full £1000, he disclosed this on Twitter I think. Unfortunately the sad little git has blocked me so I cant confirm it.
  12. That is the trouble with the South Coast Premier Sports journalist, he does not like being proved wrong. I did it to him on Twitter and he blocked me, sad little *****.
  13. More plastic ideas at Fatpipe Park. Just can't help but laugh. just had a call from somebody deep within the PST - THEY WANT FLAGS we want your flags folks.......in time for preston on the 15th of december WE WILL GET THEM ON SHOW FOR THAT GAME if you know anyone with a flag give them a call/nudge........get back to me please WE HAVE PLANS PLEASE HELP
  14. This was allegedly sent out to 100k 'fans'. Bet the other 150k are well ******ed off they did not get an e-mail, expect mass demonstrations outside Fatpipe Park demanding Guy the Great is dismissed.
  15. Do Dreading actually have 4,800 fans. Most of their PL 'support' is made up of Manu, Arsenal, Liverpool or Chelsea fans who go to watch games.
  16. Farmery was on Solent Sports news this at 0820, the desperation in his voice was tangible. The PDT will only have circa £1.75m from fans donations by the time it goes to court and the implication is that the Trust are desperate for it not to go that far. "We don't think it is in anyone's interests for this to go to court," spokesman for the PST Colin Farmery told BBC Radio Solent. means they are frightened they might lose and be stung with a huge legal bill.
  17. They still believe their own hype about being the bestest. This little gem from the pimpey trust website., 'However, Pompey are averaging around 13,000 this season and we are convinced there are many fans sitting on the fence waiting to see what happens. Actually their average is JUST over 12,000 nothing like trying to inflate the figures eh! Even IF it was near 13,000 that is still pathetic given that our first season average was 20,900 and the second season 22,000.
  18. Ah bless his little cotton socks, poor sad deluded idiot. Me thinks the muppet doth protest too much!
  19. Quite glad the poor deluded idiot has now blocked me on Twitter after I had a go following his ridiculous comment regarding Rocha going into folklore for kicking a ball into the face of a fan, oh and also asking why he was not buying a share by himself. His standard of reporting and the way he writes his articles would struggle to get a 'D' grade in GCSE Media Studies.
  20. Definitely not a journalist gven all the idiotic statements he comes out with, an 11 year old could probably write better copy.
  21. Classic Portsmyth maths at work yet again, over inflating things seems to be the norm now. I wonder if all the myths etc will go down in folklore in the same way smashing a ball into a supporters face has done?
  22. What does it mean to the fans to take control back of the club? "In the last few days I've spoken to people previously unconnected to the club and as usual they have expressed their amazement at the LACK OF support, the PATHETIC atmosphere and the patience of the fans. We are so proud of our club and each other. "Watch out football, Pompey are back. Power to the people!" Amended the #medialovein to be more realistic.
  23. Now PDT 1 Orient 3, just when they thought they could get back into the game...... LOL
  24. PDT 0 Leyton Orient 2........ Oh dear
  25. Getting the excuses in early I see then, this from one of their boards. My big worry tonight is the referee Mr Scott. He's refereed us 3 times before Home defeat to Doncaster 3-2 - he sent Dicko off (albeit a correct decision for a heinous challenge) Away defeat in FA Cup to Brighton 3-1 - he sent Kitson off Away defeat last season 2-0 to Watford Appy's first game in charge and we were dreadful by all accounts. Not a good track record with Pompey.
