see your accuracy has not improved today;) what's that 13 posts today and still on? Maybe, just maybe its you lying not Cortesse?
-
Anyone know if the shirt will be available with an installment plan? Think it is fan's right.
-
miserable sod! Its all going to go wrong... we are doomed Enjoy the journey
-
He maybe lying but nothing to say he is. One thing apparently lying in third hand explanation to someone who rings up, totally different in live radio interview with clear question. Nothing at all to say he is. He could easily avoided the question, or said we have certain loans etc but he went out of his way to assure us that we have no debts and ML is donating money
-
keep current squad add one of Bailey, Danns, Stocks or Lines add v good RB and I will be happy!
-
so in summary, lets not forget, we are lucky not to be at all in debt!
-
do you think Cortesse was lying when directly asked this on live radio
-
just seen the light. you are right, ML is running saints on skates model, Cortesse has been lying on live radio interviews, only those who love him will believe his lies, we are heavily in debt and Markus will call those debts in. I tried!
-
this is one I did ages ago, shows that your assumptions are based on normal wealth not the likes of ML or Abramovich etc
-
you lost any abilty to debate this rationally now. Yes Cortesse maybe lying, or you, with no knowledge of the running of the club and guessing maybe wrong. ummmm - which is more likely!? So you do think we are like skates! Football is not a normal business, I don't know whether ML is expecting to make much out of it
-
Cortesse has said that there are no loans against the club, nor will there be, we are different that other clubs. For example money for training ground redevelopment is all coming as personal donation from ML
-
totally different basic business principals. Skates owner loaned money to the business. Liebherr has bought a club, put money into the club with no loans against the club. If he chooses to sell the club at some stage in the future of course he will expect to get some money back but there are no loans that can be called it. Hope this helps, I can understand why you were so against them if you felt they were running the club as the skates.

As in bold.

Lowe v Cortesse Far too early to compare for similar periods. My measurement would be success of team and my enjoyment watching. Cortesse has not failed in that as yet, if we continue to improve year on year, and I enjoy it as much as last season he will be a success and easy winner.

why did he take his mum to sign his contract?

StuRomseySaint, In case you think I think this was a great idea - I don't. I think it would have been easy and better for customers for us to continue with the plan. I think it should have been communicated better. I have never read a fans charter, and don't expect I will do. I don't think that fans (apart from precedent and the charter) should expect, or have any right for an installment plan. I would have used it if it was still in place. I do not think it will have any significant impact on the crowds, season tickets or feeling within the club. I expect prices to rise as we go up the leagues. If I can afford it I will pay. I prefer cheaper prices. I think fans who start telling clubs how they should run their clubs are in 99% of cases an embarressment to football fans.
-
of course I will feel the same - it will actually prove my point.
-
that is what I used to do when I couldn't afford to pay for season upfront. It will soon be forgotten when signings and games start but not much else going on with saints at mo!
-
think its easy to get carried away with fan power, doubt if its of interest to any CEOs. You are a customer, not a custodian of the club - buy your ticket on their terms or don't. They have dedicated fans (all clubs not just ours) over a barrel. I don't so much defend Cortesse but get fed up with this romantic fantasy that they owe us and need to consult us. I expect the season ticket sales will prove Cortesse right, if some who might of gone don't then he won't be too bothered, just like the Mayflower are not too worried if their pricing puts some off when they feel its right.

had you read it before? I hadn't.
