its what football is all about - variation in how we rate players. personally he would be far from a legend, probably not in my top 5 CBs since I have been watching. Also his poor form (due to lack of personal discipline?) had direct impact on our stay in prem. Hope he sorts out his personal life.

think 99.9% of fans are positive and excited about the season. Its only on the information vacuum on here that negativity starts with two or three. Can't wait, when was last time we were this positive pre-season?

I think they will struggle to get 10,000 crowds next season. They keep saying no fire sale, but unless several teams are after same player how can they expect anything other than minimal fee? Particularly if the player has decided he wants to join the club offering low fee as will probably be the case.

I remember when we were having all the board room antics for years, we all said on here that we just wanted to have a decent football team - talk about that - hear from the manager, not from boardroom etc. Now we have Stu and Alps moaning on a daily basis that we are not being communicated with about the club and its transfers. Our role is to follow the football team, pay to watch if we want, discuss it if we want, but these fans who get above their station and want to run clubs are really a laughing stock. Feel better now!
