I would imagine they get literally hundreds of charities contacting them. They would be best having one or two favoured ones and let it be known they will not get bogged down with loads. Maybe the email arrived the same day as unicef, nspcc, rainbow trust, help for heroes, macmillan etc What help do these families need? Genuine question, were they ok when supported by crime? Are they on benefits?

Pardew wants to win this league. The way you can guarantee that is to win every game. Not achievable I know, but it has to be the target. To win every game you have to be able to put out a team to win each and every game - even when you have a few suspensions/injuries etc. We will play 46 league games. Not one player played all of them (although Lambert was not with us at the start of the season. Therefore you can assume that just about every player will miss at least a two or three games. The aim has to be, that any player can be replaced in the first 11 and we will still have the best team in the league. Pardew's problem is keeping them happy - Harding played 42 league games last year, it sounds like Harding and Dickson are both good enough not to be happy to only play 2 or 3 games.

I am trying! Personally think Schniederlin has been a great signing for us, this season he has been, imho, consistent, talented, committed and really made our team tick. I know a couple of posters, including Alpine disagree and feel he is inconsistent and lightweight. Think we missed him when he didn't play this season.
