  1. new coming up from Southampton in a moment....
  2. sad but I set it to record! will listen later
  3. you've lost the plot
  4. all very fair. it may have been that he took the lead on tactics etc and now is blaming Jan, IMHO very very unlikely but would suit some conspiracy theorist seeking to see the worst in saints, more likely, had involvement but Jan picked team, gave team talks, subs, tactics etc, lead on training
  5. was it you who made the comment that the protest was to get Crouch to replace Wilde/Lowe and to protest against silly decisions like Wotte being appointed?
  6. not just that, the organiser of the protest said in the week (before Wotte criticised the march) that the protest was against his appointment -think it was silly decisions but the only one named was the appointment of Wotte.
  7. how could it not be? worse position, worse players, less time?
  8. if we stay up he would have achieved more. If we go down there will be such negativity I would expect changes.
  9. my main point about the protest is that last time, Lowe didn't care about protests, didn't care about Wilde buying loads of shares, didn't care about AGM - only went when he absolutely had to. The comments that the organiser of this protest made saying it was about "the silly appointment of Wotte" was before Wotte's comments about 16 year old etc - think it was answering him.
  10. because it was what the organiser of the protest said the protest was about in the main publicity about it. So why shouldn't Wotte be against a protest against him? I don't have an anti protest agenda. Thinks its a waste of time but at least people were showing their passion - until I read the article when Connor said what it was about, and now I think it is protesting not really knowing what you are protesting about. Its all about opinions!
  11. totally agree. Point I was trying to make - badly - was that if form increases interest in boardroom/protests wains. Aiming this protest at Wotte will kill it, if we do ok under him. THe other aim, reimstalling Crouch - does he want to come back?
  12. oh I want him gone, and of course he will one day. Not apologising for him, just saying how fickle we are - of we had done great we would not have cared about him being back, but him being Lowe our thresholds are lower.
  13. you are making the same mistake that Lowe made, viewing NP and Crouch as a package. who are all the British managers available who are more successful? (I am still considering this hypothetically with him having kept us up rather than judging at the moment)
  14. no fans are happy when we are doing well. btw not thick
  15. when else was I misinformed?
  16. I stand corrected. I did post on here a few times asking what exactly the protest was trying to achieve. Didn't pay much attention to it until happened to pick up the old echo with Connor in it. He clearly stated it was to protest over silly mistakes like appointing Wotte and the aim was for Wilde/Lowe to step aside for Crouch. The photo of the march shows it being led by an anti Wotte banner. Connor was the organiser of this march and the echo was its main publicity. Therefore it seems reasonable to assume that was what the march was for.
  17. I was surprised to read the organisers views on its objectives. He clearly fancied organising a protest and not really knowing what for.
  18. he chased and played well.
  19. after Sheff U he chased after one of the players sending him back out to go to Northam to applaud the fans - maybe he does care about fans just not ones who set up a protest saying his appointment was silly?
  20. this is clearly using two wrongs to make a right. moaning about a manager being sacked after turning our season around and keeping us up, if Wotte does same -with worse players and much much lower starting point then he should be sacked? I stand by my feeling that I wish NP had stayed, therefore if a manager does better how can I possibly think he should be sacked? (unless I am letting personal views of board members cloud my judgement?)
  21. he is devisive -but only when we are doing badly.
  22. pointless march then!
  23. having now read Connors bit in echo explaining the march - the purpose of the march was for Lowe and Wilde to step down -over silly decisions like appointing Wotte and for Crouch to be chairman. I think its understandable that he lacks sympathy with the march - wouldn't anyone with a march protesting over their appointment?
  24. maybe it was me being slow but I didn't realise that the purpose of the march was for Lowe and Wilde to step down -over silly decisions like appointing Wotte and for Crouch to be chairman. Did others all realise this was what the march was for?
  25. win and crowds return -simple
