No, the winner will only get £20 but an agreed has been thrashed out for an additional £1.6M in image rights.

Awesome result - really enjoyed listening to that

Guys, isn't 9 days a red herring? Don't they still have to submit the statement of affairs by COB on the 17th (7 days - NOT working days). The only reason the case is adjourned for (at least) 9 days is because the court is busy - that date the case is heard does not affect the date for their submission. If they have set a timescale of the 17th for submission then even if a buyer is found on day 8 or 9 "technically" that new information can be ignored as the case will be heard based on the position as of COB on the 17th.
-
But a couple of months falls OUTSIDE the 28 days - no good to anyone.
-
Lunch time - standard 12 - 2 - no reason to panic yet guys.

Isn't the £1.8m just the playing staff? I thought it was around £3m in total including all the non-playing.

Puncheon Signs 3 1/2 Yr Contract at Saints
Gravesend Saint replied to Somewhere In Northam's topic in The Saints
Really pleased with this. He is quality and will something a bit extra. As he can play either flank it should allow AP to switch wings to create variety during a game. Get in! -
Although, after crisis talks they are "confident" he will stay: http://www.tribalfootball.com/portsmouth-confident-grant-will-stay-after-crisis-talks-607111

Er hello!! The PLC ceased to exist and the shares along with it. Do they know nothing?
-
Not unless it's a loan or free and they can sell another player to pay the wages
-
So THAT'S how he plans to cut the deficit in public funds! It all makes sense now
-
Definitely feel sorry for them. Palace has always been a bit of a "second club" as I was born not far up the road before moving to the Isle of Wight (hence supporting Saints). Wasn't nice when it happened to us so I hope they find a buyer soon.

In addition to the Sun link earlier, it just shows they haven't got a clue: http://www.thisisstaffordshire.co.uk/sport/Stoke-City-knew-James-deal-claims-Pompey-boss/article-1717476-detail/article.html

If you've never read it I would also recommend Warday by James Kunetka and Whitley Streiber. The two authors travel round parts of the US 5 years after a 20 minute nuclear exchange to see what has happened to the country. It was written before the idea of nuclear winter was formed so you don't get the whole climate change aspect but it's still a good read. Scared the s**t out of me when I was young.

A Rangers statement read: "The club can confirm that manager Paul Hart has decided to leave QPR with immediate effect." Maybe he's decided to jump before being pushed - there is obviously something seriously wrong at the club.

My wife and a friend when to the MHL at Elstree years ago. You are told what to say, when to oooh and ahhh and if you don't you get thrown out. The people they pick RANDOMLY from the audience to go on the investigations with the team are chosen in advance *shock* NO! I hear you cry! and told to look surprised. As said above, it is indeed all bollix.
