Those 3 were good signings it's the new ones who have been poor.
-
Believe me they did big time. No way Cortese wouldn't have tied the Toby deal up just not a chance.
-
Was gutted at the time and realised this and it's been proved its a huge loss.
-
Okay well him if anyone wants to buy him which is unlikely. Prob have to be a championship team.

Ross Wilson appointed as Director of Scouting & Recruitment
Roger replied to Ulrich van Gobbel's topic in The Saints
Clasie was good today don't agree on that. -
Koeman now as we could be relegated.
-
Toby was 11.5 million for Spurs.
-
I would sell him. He was awful today. Awful signing.

Thanks for insight and it is important to remember that although these things you have mentioned indicate it's Koemans fault, it's important to remember that he had his best 3 players sold in the summer. Toby is the best CB in prem, Morgan is as good as anyone in his position and so is Clyne. The season before chambers was sold, lambert, Shaw, lallana and Lovren. The head of recruitment left last season who brought in Toby, Pelle, tadic and mane. The u21s and u18s aren't setting the world alight. Gallagher could get hardly a game and 0 goals at mk Dons. Yes Koeman has made mistakes with formation and playing certain players either out of position or not at all and formations but I feel the board should take the blame for most of this. Look at the ambition the cherries are showing. Katrina is richer by a distance than their owner. I can only conclude that the board thought they could sell and make a profit and still increase value of club. They are like many owners in the past learning fast that if you stand still or regress in our case you will get a harsh taste of reality.

Guly and papa waigo were successes.
-
I think Cortese was a nest horrid man but he did have his pulse on what we needed at certain times. Yes Osvaldo, gaston and forren were terrible but there are tons of successes he had including helping us getting promoted two leagues. He knew what was needed.
-
Nor would I but I think board should have done more. Since picking up from Cortese they got a bit lucky last summer and thought it was easy this football business but they must be thinking now that it's tougher than they thought.
-
Be a massive regression though this season and when you go to game after game it is very frustrating.
-
Just absolute rubbish.

James Ward-Prowse's list of indisputable, unimprovable weaknesses
Roger replied to ScepticalStan's topic in The Saints
Dear oh dear. -
He didn't mean it like that we all hope he does well.

Why isn't kingslands comment okay. It's what most will think. I like Gallagher but he should be doing better up there. I think you're a bit biased as you have close connections to him but nothing wrong with kingsland red comments. Sam has to prove himself and hasn't so far at all.

Just a joke he got 15% 1. Shows how far English football and sunk and 2. Shows how other fans have just latched on to hype not seeing performances to back it up. I hope he proves me wrong but have seen very little evidence he will be a premier league player for years more. -
For me the biggest loss was Toby from our team. For me he's more important than Morgan. Best defender in prem.
-
Toby is a huge loss too. The guy is the best defender in league by miles. Just playing amazing today!
-
Very tough to respond when you speak like that. The higher up we are the more the club is worth it's not rocket science.
-
Have to agree with you on this. I'm not happy with a lot of things but club didn't do anything wrong here. Also, gazzaniga is improving and we have to allow a pathway for him.
-
No I don't and not do the vast majority. But let's hope things improve.
