Just don't get it. If we play weakened team prob won't bother with cups anymore as club won't be. Can understand league cup but not this one too. Difficult to say about squad when we've let players like puncheon and mayuka go who would have been great for this and would have seen a lot if game time.

To be honest j rod was far worse. Can't play that role upfront on his own. First touch awful and made the wrong runs. Gaston wasn't problem. Lallana wasn't good today either.

Sorry but that's not right, puncheon for me was better than lallana and gaston last season. Not saying he's better player but was last season IMO. He was very consistent last season and very rarely had a bad game. But not really knocking club for letting him go.
