I am sure a number of the people running the trust are in it for gain and personal kudos. By cozying up to Lowe Illingsworth will damage what little reputation the trust has left. Time to close it or get more people running it in tune with majority views

We are now in the last death throws of the trust. Originally the concept was good, the problem is that not a soul seems to have the time to run it effectively. Add to that the comments which come from Illingsworth as an ally of Lowe and it is seen to be a propaganda machine which represents Lowe and Wilde rather than the members. The best thing that Nick can do is resign and see if any other person has the time to devote to running it properly for the benefit of the fans rather than Lowe

You got it 90% right, however the problem remains that we can NEVER speak with one voice because there are those some who post on here, that will forgive the Board of directors anything. Until we are truly united through a disaster like Administration we will be paper tigers.. There are times when of late I fear that the apathy of some on here will hasten the demise of our club. Anywhere else by now there would have been united demonstrations, but we are so apathetic we accept anything of late. Wake up guys before your team has gone for good

Lowe cannot afford NOT to sack Portaloo...we have a situation where if relegation happens financially we are done for, since, the gates in Div ! will be such as to make football unviable. So why does he not understand this stark fact. There is still enough games left to change the manager and to avoid relegation. I can only assume that Lowe and Wilde actually want Administration

We do need a new manager even on a short term contract with much of his salary performance linked to avoid relegation. However that man must have experience of the CCC league that we play in and have as one of his main skills the ability to motivate and demand more from the players than they have been giving recently. It is alleged that we do have some decent young players who need to be motivated to turn in good displays on a regular basis. Portaloo does not have that skill set.

Most of us have written off the season now and are resigned to football in the next division down. Unfortunately the situation will be the same next season in a lower division...unless Lowe either leaves or changes direction and fires our Dutch trio. What they cannot see is that the financial situation will only get worse as gates dwindle in lower divisions. It needs a brave leadership and change of direction for SFC to survive. Under Lowe this will not happen.

It makes me smile that some pro Lowe posters want to compare the many years of the Lowe missmanagement with the 5 months that Crouch had the leadership...remember too that it was Wilde who put the Execs in power.

I like the idea of a board in waiting. I like the idea of a focus for unity against the failure of the plc and negative effect Lowe has on the Club. As the soothsayer says above to quote Saint Robbie, however there is one small problem to be an effective board it should be people prepared to sink money into the club...its no good having a board in waiting if they will not be part of the future...they become paper tigers. I fear that whatever we propose is not going to get Lowe to reconsider his position...he honestly believes he is the only sane one amongst us who knows what he is doing. The answer in three words is...we are stuffed!!!. Next season will be a mirror image of this ,if, Lowe is still there in the same influencial capacity. Lowe is only interested in money...his money. Once he can get his money out, you will not see him for dust. This might take years though

Duncan its about time you were back with your normal balanced views. Crouch must now sit down with Wilde and get him to withdraw his support before the club dies.
