  1. Talksport saying that announced at creditors meeting that debts are £138m!!!!!! Edit - Oops missed MLG's message
  2. If you were referring to me ESB then I don't have anyone on ignore, but thanks for the sharing the wit & wisdom.
  3. Given the talk on here of how Pompey being wound up would effect us & the play-offs - I'm lead to believe that they aren't the best of friends. and anyway, mute point as they now have another 42 days
  4. Nothing on BBC yet... ... the ironic thing is, if they get wound up today then it will be Swansea who will take their place in the play-offs!! Not been on their message boards but there must be some grief going on between fans on there!! Edit: Given another 42 days... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/south_east/8662161.stm
  5. Does Robert Kraft have a yacht? I feel they should post someone at the entrance to Gosport harbour
  6. Brilliant, heard it live. Thing is Andy Jacobs was absolutely spot on, and for Lewis to just totally refute taking wickets into account was ridiculous. Last night was a farce - and it looks like we're going to D/L again tonight - so effectively having lost 2 tosses, we could be out of the WC. As commented by someone earlier - who in the ICC decided that Guyana in May was a suitable venue
  7. Spot on, everyone has their part to play.
  8. 5live have just spent 5 minutes taking the pi** out of Avram Grant & his speech. They finished it by saying he will see out the cup final & then dissappear to West Ham (or to a local massage parlour). Brilliant
  9. In a nutshell really.... Plus I'm sure that AP can focus on more than one thing so improving the record at SMS will alos be high up his agenda.
  10. Some fundemental questions that need to be asked: what were he & his manager doing in Kiev (that hotbed of world snooker) because as far as I'm aware, no tournament is played there? did he report the approach to the governing body as soon as practical (i.e. out of the country)? I suspect that if he had reported the approach, he wouldn't be suspended & the WPBSA would have defended him by now.
  11. Okay so remove the 9 point penalty and you'd be a point ahead of Burnley & ahead of Hull on goal difference - so you're a great team and that's despite all of the cheating going on. Another 'unbelievable Jeff!'
  12. Just to update on JP's progress, FC Eindhoven won the 2nd leg of their first round playoff against AGOVV 3-2 with 2 goals in the last 12 minutes. They are now through to the second round of the playoffs on the 6th & 9th May - they'll meet the team finishing 17th in the Eredivisie (the top division), the final games are tomorrow so it will be either Willem II or Sparta.
  13. Brown makes late charge to capture marginal voters "98, 99, 100 - coming ready or not....."
  14. Having stolen the Monkey Petting Zoo idea, Gordon realises he's mentioned it in the wrong marginal constituency.
  15. Well done to Fulham, just shows what is possible from a well organised team. Thoroughly deserved.
  16. My recollection of the original piece on the Portsmouth forum was that the presentation was done at the end of last season, which certainly rules out Azougy from taking full blame for the fiasco. Here we go... http://fansonline.net/portsmouth/mb/view.php?id=262928 Before the start of the 2008/09 season Portsmouth Football Club agreed to donate £1 from every replica shirt sold (either from club shops or online) to the Tom Prince Cancer Trust. The club invited Clint and Adele Prince to a home game at the end last season to be presented on the pitch with a cheque for £4,500, this turned out to be a complete sham as they never received a penny.
  17. Chez, those ones I listed were purely loans - thats at least £2m in loan fee's this season which is just crazy.
  18. That is as much a reflection of Charlton's financial state as much as anything. They are desperate for investment, and without it, they may well be admin as well within the next 12 months.
  19. Dog, As the first one is the Ali Semi Yen in Istanbul - home of Galatasary, I'm guessing the other two are Besiktas & Fenerbahce. Have to say I'm jealous of you having been to theose grounds - some awesome atmospheres I bet.
  20. Well, listed on the admin report are: O'Hara £500k Dindane £817k Yebda £433k There was also Owusu-Abeyie who cost them £250k, as Spartak confirmed they wanted £250k refund on the original £500k fee as they sold him. I would also have my doubts over Rocha & Tosic who amazingly got their contracts cancelled by their former clubs to join in - who knows how much that cost?
  21. Believe thats the stadium in Leipzig which was re-built for the WC in 2006. Interestingly built inside the terraces for the old bowl style stadium that was there before.
  22. Colleymore on Talksport again talking about pompey - asking Pompey fans to ring in, he's already shot down 2 fans, one trying to defend teh FA cup final, we deserve our day out. Wolves fan moaning about couldn't sign a player at the start of the season because outbid by Pompey. Leeds fan just brought up Melbourne Storm.
  23. Keep us updated with what he says (for those who can't pick up Quay)
  24. Available on a free apparently http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/n/notts_county/8647725.stm Wages might be an issue if he's been on £15k per week
