My main criticism of Parsons is the legal defence he put together, I honestly think Mr Bean could have done a better job, the “independent” panel was clearly not independent but never challenged, we allowed the EFL to push us around and ignore legal timescales we should get to defend charges and it’s all well & good getting Lord Pannick involved at the 12 hour but the damage was done. Man City have got away with murder because of their legals, Chelsea & Everton all dealt with lightly too, PP keeps banging on about we have dealt with “disproportionately”, let’s have it right we were dealt a rough hand because everyone else had a competent legal defence, we didn’t. And the blame for that I am afraid totally rests with the CEO
