For what it’s worth I think there is a reasonable chance we could get reinstated. Just doesn’t add up from a legal perspective. I’d say it’s probably 50/50, would not write it off. As I have said previously it’s down to the argument we put forward, if it’s strong enough I would struggle to see how they can impose the original decision Like it or not the statement is bang on. The punishment doesn’t fit the crime. Our sanction is way out of line in comparison to others. People slagging it off what on earth did you expect him to say. Tonda is a dead man walking and even if Wembley happens he will not lead us out, however I think perspective is important here. As the statement suggests what we did is rife, we were just stupid enough to get caught

Said from the start Tonda was behind it all and was laughed out of town on here. As was the suggestion when I said we could be thrown out. For what it’s worth I think the club are delaying making a statement because Tonda will be sacked this morning. They want to be seen to do the “right thing” before making a comment publicly whether the appeal is successful is another question altogether but if it is it definitely won’t be Tonda leading us out at Wembley. I actually think legally we have a good chance of getting it over turned, the punishment is nonsense, that being said whether we have the intelligence and legal muscle to do it is something else entirely

What Saints have done is shameful but what EFL has done is even worse. The punishment does not fit the crime on any level.
