Was a great save. Funny thing is that for the first 20 minutes or so Leicester were threatening. A bit of luck with the first goal not being ruled out for offside. After the Baz save it’s been an attacking procession. Once again it’s been the Scienza, Fellows, Armstrong, Azaz show with Harwood-Bellis’ assistance. Manning has his limitations but that wonderful left foot is a big asset. This is dreamland stuff. We’ve definitely owed Leicester a thrashing…..let’s hope it is one.

Helping Manning out; would have been tempted to play Wellington, a better defender. I suppose our old mate Manning has been in pretty good form. Good lineup though. C’mon Saints.

Arma played an exceptional game, like no other he’s produced at Saints. Killer passes, half turns, assists, high pitch pressing, tracking back to defend and the well taken goal at the second bite. Maybe it was a dislike of Jones which motivated him. He and several others have lifted their games since Still's sacking.

You’ve got a point, he’s no flat track bully though. What I have noticed is a clunky first touch at times and a tendency to need more time on the ball than he’s likely to get. The extra touch he took today when a first time tap in goal was at his mercy a case in point. Like you, I want to see him deliver in a highly contested, crunch game before I’m convinced. Today, Adam Armstrong delivered a blueprint for the attacking midfield/10 performance I hope Azaz can produce.

While that’s true; let’s just savour the best half of attacking Football we’ve seen from Saints for ages. Adam Armstrong, Tom Fellows, Scienza, Jander and Azaz all unbelievably good. The movement, passing and speed on the break have been stunning.
