Hasn’t been Finn’s day.

Larin for Stewart is overdue

Lovely stuff Mr Charles.

Larin and Charles time.

Azaz needs to lift. Wood has unbalanced the defence.

Most Spaniards would agree with you.

Swansea definitely not on the beach.

I get that Wood will want to play well against his former side, and he has been solid in recent sub appearances. Slightly worried though that the Stephens/THB partnership has been disrupted.

With Matsuki and Manning the Club has the “Two left feet” many others would like!

Think you’ve nailed our “best three” tonight, although even at a lower gear, THB was outstanding as well. It’s dreamland stuff alright and even though there’s a likelihood of falling just short of automatic promotion, this run of success and feel-good-entertainment is all any supporter can ask for. Even during the run of unbeaten games under Martin, the Football wasn’t as consistently good. Tonda’s slightly high wire act in making changes and resting key players worked out perfectly. Uplifting for Archer to get his chance wide left and deliver his best game for ages. The loan signings of Larin and Peretz are turning out to be genius decisions.

The Downes and Jander combination was brilliant today, as you say, even in the first half they dominated the midfield. As much as Charles is a silky mover and Bragg a promising, hard working centre mid. Downes particularly, and Jander manage to combine both the graft of defensive duties with attacking forays and an eye for a pass. You can see why Clubs are looking at Jander and we will do well to keep him, while the Downes redemption is complete and he must rank as among the best cm’s in the division and worthy of another opportunity at Prem level. Likewise THB, another commanding performance, and Scienza’s goal right from the top drawer.

Quality from Leo. Great build up from Jander.

Manning not as good today…Wellington on for him.

Great post, which not only summarises the win over Wrexham well, but speaks for a lot of people’s reaction to the transformation of the side since January. One of the things I reflect on is just how many of us had written players, coaches, technical directors off as not good enough, out of their depth or not invested in the Club. Collectively we’ve been proven wrong, and it’s a humbling experience. In no particular order the following have been written off at various times by many of us. Downes, THB, Manning, Matsuki, Azaz, Stewart, Edozie, Eckert and Spors. Being a fan is partly about forming opinions of players and Managers; and often we’re right, yet in the last three months I’d guess that every fan has been forced to upturn their strong belief about several players and certainly about Tonda. And isn’t that a good thing. You can follow a Club and a sport for a long time, make accurate assessments, analyse games, managers and players with a degree of success and then, get sat on your backside by what we’ve witnessed since January.
