  1. Indeed. That figure is an add on estimate for the three you mention from Farmer Saints assessment of 55 -60m for THB and Scienza.
  2. Hope you're right about Jander - would love to see him stay for another season; he's going to be exceptional. Where are you expecting Bree to go? Back to Nate Jones? Likewise Stewart, with his injury history can't see many options beyond Saints. Larin, yes, can see him signing up but I suspect there will be competition for Peretz. IF we take THB, Scienza, Charles, Jander and Peretz as likely to leave, I'd be delighted to see one of them, at a pinch two of them stay. Ramsdale of course, is nailed on to be sold.
  3. Good call. I expect Jander and Charles to be offski. There will be big interest in Jander after his heroics v Fulham and particularly Man. City. Let's hope the fee is in line with his obvious talent/scope. Charles not signing a new contract is an indication he wants a move, and interest in him is likely. So your 55-60m pounds incoming could stretch to 100m; maybe 120-125m with the sale of Ramsdale. Which would give Spors something to try and weave his magic with again......if he's still here.
  4. I'll be very happy (and a bit surprised) if we retain one of those two. If we did, and Downes stays; happy days. Not convinced that Bragg is yet ready to be a main player but as you say, with a 4th CM recruit brought in we'd we well set.
  5. I wouldn't fancy playing golf with him. Too many preferred lies!
  6. Didn't know the rules but dressed his spy stooges in disguise just in case there were any. Tonda's shaping as the biggest let down in this sorry saga. Interested to see if Spors had his fingers in the Spying till.
  7. Makes the apparent failure (last Summer) to coax, convince Rohl back to the Club all the more disappointing.
  8. It's a great thing we can see player's performances differently. I thought Charles was very good all night; Jander, as you say was outstanding - we have to beat Hull in the final to keep him; same applies with Charles, THB and Scienza. You thought Azaz was very good; I thought he was fairly anonymous in both play off games, lets hope he plays well in the final.
  9. He (Charles) was immense tonight. Not just the goal but throughout he played the box-to-box role superbly. And Jander was equally as good. Thought Tonda had erred not starting with Downes or starting all three with Charles in the Azaz spot, but the fresh legs of Downes really helped tosnuff out any Boro revival for much of the second half. Manning, a player many of us have criticised was outstanding - his passing, touch, control, dead ball delivery were all brilliant. How did Bree end up back at Charlton early in the season? His return has played a big part in this amazing second half of the season. Wood was solid; Stewart played his part, moved the defence around, held the ball up and timed his leap and finish perfectly for the equaliser. Subs played their part, particularly Larin and Edozie. For Saints to overcome that first half blitz on Saturday, going behind early tonight, the Spygate stuff and the associated media barrage is a big achievement. One more hurdle to clear. How likely did any of this seem after the 0-4 result at Riverside?
  10. In a scrap like this Azaz is again looking like a liability. Tempting to bring Downes on and push Charles to the more advanced role.
