At least we won't have to worry about losing him in a years time to a CL club or 'one of the biggest clubs in the world'. Or maybe we do, which will mean he's been one of the clubs most inspirational signings ever!

Of course the fee is relevant. It determines what funds we have available for other transfers. It's not a difficult concept for all those who keep saying it's irrelevant / not the fans money etc etc

Unfortunately if you're no longer an attractive club to join and you leave it till the 11th hour then you have to take what you can get and at whatever price. Considering the (apparent) current lack of transfer activity on our behalf (other than Gardos) I can see us having a couple of Spurs players as part of the inevitable Schneiderlin move on deadline day.

So it seems a little quiet on the rumour front other than the Gardos situation. Anyone of the view we may have done all we are going to in this transfer window (excluding what may or may not happen with MS) or do we think there may be one or two more to come?
