    XG

You can see it on the XG graph posted on Twitter. Can’t remember the minute but it was a lovely dink of a cross from left central which Halaand somehow managed to make a complete Horlicks of it, any meaningful touch would have diverted it away from Gavin.

    XG

Indeed, with the probability derived thousands of games; not just the game we’re considering in isolation.

    XG

I can’t help that. I don’t have 20-20 vision but Haaland and Alvarez had very good opportunities to score.

    XG

Au contraire mon ami. It is you calling others stupid and it’s you interpreting the extrapolated data as shit. It’s not the data, data does not judge nor guide.

    XG

No I didn’t, City had 2 great chances to score, another day they score them.

    XG

    Case in point

    XG

Essentially, there are 2 types of people, those that can extrapolate information from data It’s easier to call it bollox. The data directly derived from video is brilliant and is less subjective than some think.
  8. Woah there!! Think you need to reign in your aspirations on the “Big announcement”.
  9. Maybe not MOTM but I thought that was Adam Armstrong's best game in a Saints shirt. Never bloody stopped, like the proverbial Duracell bunny. My favourite moment was when he had 5 Citeh players on him, tight on the touchline, could they get the ball off him? Could they feck.

    XG

I kind of like XG as a stat but like many stats they can miss context. If I understand XG correctly, the position from where Djennapo shot would have a very low probability of scoring from; the missing context here was Ortega’s horrific positioning.
  11. One of Howe’s tactics in the big games away from home has been to disrupt and break any flow or pattern. I expect a lot of shithousery from them in the first leg so I hope the ref is strong. Would love to take a lead up to theirs. COYS!!
  12. Sometimes you have to properly hit the bottom before things start to improve. Forest was as bad as I’ve seen is play but to say that’s our type is poor.
  13. Stunned!! A lot of emotion released with Mara’s goal, an important goal but fuck me he took it so well.
  14. I’m with you on most points and I’ve been looking for some green shoots of recovery from each game. Unfortunately that Forest game was as bad as any Saints performance I’ve witnessed… and I’ve seen a lot of shit.
  15. If a 5ft 10 wide player doesn’t tempt MLG back, nuffink will
  16. I’m not sure Ali would’ve been good enough for the Championship
  17. Erm, define “played”….
  18. Yep, I feel like sending apologies in advance to Orsic.
  19. Think I’ll agree to disagree. DCC pinged a beauty out to Perraud shortly after coming on and I don’t remember much shit from DCC that didn’t also involve Lyanco. Anyway, Jan is looking better with each game
  20. By he I’m guessing you mean DCC. The pass that springs to mind was DCC to Lyanco, where Lyanco was too square, basic defensive possession is to drop off to receive.
  21. I’m struggling to understand the logic in the selection of our CBs. We started with ABK - Liability - Salisu ABK gets injured, DCC comes on and we switch the line up to: Liability - DCC - Salisu Why isn’t DCC starting? It makes no sense to me.
  22. Fuck this clown. You got the job to turnaround our shit performances not to hide behind them when you fail to show any sign of turning things around after nearly 2 months. Joker.
  23. I’m sure they care about their investment.
  24. There simply is no sign of even a slight improvement in any factor of our play. How can any board member honestly deny that a change in course is required. The results, defending, attacking play, tactical changes have all been shit.
