  1. First 20 minutes aside I thought we played really well, possibly the best this season. Lyanco and DCC at the back has plenty of shithousery, which against teams like Arsenal is a good thing. Stunning goal to draw level. Nice to have that feeling of pride about the team again. COYS.
  2. 2 or 3 key roles? Striker, 100% with you. Maybe an AM but Joe A is settling in now and I thought he played a good game on Wednesday, more to come I think. Even Stu A is looking like he's about to hit some form again. Central midfield and central defence, when all fit, looks the best we've had for a number of seasons.
  3. Got to do, got to do with it.....
  4. Au contraire Toussaint, AMN is improving with each game, shame he can’t play this Sunday. 2 from JWP, RL and AMN looks good to me.

    Che Adams

Agreed, best I’ve seen Che play for sometime. Hopefully he has some fun with the Arsenal defence on Sunday.
  6. For the life of me I can’t think what you would write if Ralph had left the formation as it was and we’d conceded. You can’t have it both ways.
  7. To be fair to miss piggy; her form has been pretty decent of late so to get our proverbial leg over her, on her home patch and leave without any obvious rashes or itching should be applauded (quietly).
  8. Fuck me you’re expecting a lot to change in the space of 3 days. The level we have dropped to will not change overnight. For me, the positives from last night: - DCC was ok, first time I’ve had a proper look at him. I like his character at the back. - AMN is getting fitter, and showed signs of being a good enough midfielder for us. - Baz is growing in confidence, spilled a cross at the end but I’m confident he’s premier league quality. - We scored a really nice goal. - We limited the chances of a team that has been in good form. Green shoots? Maybe, maybe not.
  9. What were you expecting last night? A confident, free flowing performance? If our form is to improve it will be gradual with no doubt a few knocks on the way. Last night’s 3 points has bought the team a little time, I doubt we will see any significant changes now before the World Cup.
  10. What approach did you expect?? Knock it about like we’re unbeaten in 10? It wasn’t pretty and it was poor at times but you have to really scrap to turn our form around with the confidence levels currently within the team. 3 points bagged is the most important thing.
  11. Bournemouth look like a team, we look like anything but a team. Easy win for them. #wemarchon
  12. If Postecoglou is the preferred choice (taps nose) then we could see a move in the not too distant future...
  13. Probably because this is a shit forum to discuss women’s football.
  14. Sellers, Wurrrrrrrrrrrzel, Sellers….
  15. Haha get another life you dramatic tart.
  16. Assuming this run off form continues; I sincerely hope Ralph is relieved of his duties before the relationship between fans and manager becomes really toxic. Ralph doesn’t deserve that. He’s done an excellent job for us but a change is required as is often the case after 3 or 4 years.
  17. No point letting him stay around any longer than necessary. If the decision has been made, he has to go now.

  19. Keeper and defence picks itself, assuming Perraud is fit and Ralph doesn't have a brain fart on formation. Shirley AMN is ready to play Ralphball by now, partners JWP in the middle. Aribo and Stu as the 2 "10"s, although I wouldn't mind seeing Edozie get the first 60 minutes in this game Che and Mara up top.
  20. 😂. Can't think why Puel saw our strengths in defence
  21. The problem is his win rate in the premier league last season was 24%. I can't be arsed to dig out the stat on points lost from winning positions but I think we all know what that will tell us and in which direction his returns are heading. Overall, recent performances are not offering much hope for the future. The straw that broke this donkeys back was the attacking 4 selected for the Villa match: Djenno (on the right) Mo (centre) A Armstrong (left) Che - 3 of the 4 played out of position, after 2 weeks preparation... serious questions have to be asked, you've got 2 weeks to prepare for a match where you know the oppo and their manager will be scrapping for their lives and that's the best you come up with?? Give me a break.
  22. You’re right. Going into the Villa game I was looking forward to seeing a big improvement; lots of new players having best part of 2 weeks to really come together. What we saw was a tame selection from Ralph and a terrible performance.
  23. Keep it simple man. I’ve only seen 3 ratings so far: good, average, dog dirt. We’ve been a mixture of average and dog dirt this season; extrapolate that to your heart’s content.
  24. Working our socks off and defending hard, all be it against a clueless Chelsea attack, are givens in my book and do not make an average performance a good one.
  25. Your argument has more holes than the Leicester defence eating Edam cheese. First game of the season for Spurs too; didn't want to throw Ricarlison in. Again early season for Leeds as well, what's the point here? Villa were shit too... so? If we're shit when playing P*mpey, is that ok? Average performances v Mancs and Wolves, should've definitely got something out of those 2 games. Good results != good performances. Same can be said for bad results not equalling bad performances. From my point of view, we've not had a good performance so far this season. We've had 2 piss poor performances and 5 average performances - where "average" would see us as a lower to mid-table team. We were fortunate to meet the Chelsea side we did; they were double-piss poor that day.
