  1. It was ABKs worst half for us, JWP still looks lost, Adam A is stealing a living with what he offered on Tuesday, Lyanco was plenty of puff with little quality, the wing backs look unsure of what’s expected from them. AMN gets called out for being lazy and I genuinely believe he is anything but. I’d really like to see him alongside Lavia as a 2 in front of a back 4, currently he’s trying to cover a particularly weak area for us.
  2. It wasn’t and I was. A (hopefully) ring rusty performance. No Saint had a better than average game and we continue to look susceptible to a team that moves the ball quickly. If the same level of performance happens on Boxing Day we will get thumped.
  3. A couple of miss passes from AMN and the haters are out for him. FFS give it a rest. People judge him, incorrectly in my opinion, because he "doesn't care", these same people are gushing over Lyanco because he chucks a couple of fist pumps to the crowd and seemingly don't judge Lyanco's poor quality with the ball as much as they do AMN. AMN is stoney faced on the pitch, so what? That's just him, it doesn't seem to change, even when he scored the 4th penalty in a penalty shoot out for Arsenal v Liverpool in the Community Shield he showed no emotion at all. He can play CDM and RB to Premier League standard, give him a break.
  4. 1000 more Premier League minutes, really?? The goal involvements I quoted were Premier League only. Evidence that he’s happy to ride the bench?? You could be right but you’re purely guessing here.
  5. Antonio 18 goal involvements last season, Che had 10. Antonio is quite dissimilar to Che if you ask me.
  6. I'd be happy to see Michail Antonio return. Strong, experienced, goalscorer; not starting for West Ham.
  7. Nothing wrong in being a committed knob, you're not on your own.😇
  8. To what question? For me he was a purchase for the future.
  9. If not Saints; then who.... cares? A lot of this thread is for the wrist slitters, the wetters of beds; they'll claim to be realists and then later on "pleased to be proven wrong". What other teams do is beyond our control. We need to be laser focussed on reaching 40 points, doing whatever is necessary and I mean whatever. I was at the Brighton Villa game (long story) but the shithousery from Villa for last 35 minutes was at epic level, not helped by a piss weak performance by the ref. Unai has Villa battling, feeding off the scraps, their support was fucking loud too. Our team needs to harden the fuck up, start imposing themselves on the match, if that means Lyanco plays to force the game then so be it. St Marys was buzzing when we dominated Arsenal - why the hell did the team retreat into its shell in the games that followed? Nathan has already mentioned the word passive, several times now. I expect he means both in and out of possession, he won't stand for it and he'll be looking to sort the players out for the 5 month battle that lies ahead. Nathan has a massive job ahead to turn this around, it's not as simple as finding a striker (although that will help) it's getting the mental attitude, physical presence right, from the first game back against Lincoln, all in.
  10. Writing him off based on interview technique is moronic and extremely short sighted. Talk is cheap, judge him on his impact to the team and results. (Assuming he gets the gig). The white smoke will be whether he’s at the game tonight or not.
  11. You're shifting the goal posts from your original EPL requirements.
  12. I see your post and raise you Poch. (It's like I saw your response coming) We could go on forever and a day, your questions do not create a subset of successful candidates.
  13. Before he joined us…. Was Killer a proven European performer? Was Killer proven in the Premier league? Was Killer proven in EPL relegation scraps? Your weighted questions right back at ya.
  14. Not sure why you’ve created a segregation between tactics and working hard. It’s the same at every club in the country; you can set the team up in the best possible way but if they don’t perform, part of which is working hard, then the team will fail. Kevin de Bruyne, the best midfielder of the generation busted his balls at the weekend to secure 3 points for his 10 man team.
  15. I wish we were Villa or Wolves…. actually I don’t.
  16. SR suffer too if they get it wrong
  17. If Jones really is SRs chosen man, then I admire their balls. They could go "safe" and choose a comfort blanket of manager to appease fans, media etc. If we consider their transfer philosophy, safe doesn't appear to be their style. It's a helluva play (if true), let's hope they're right.

  19. Have a day off Duckie
  20. He has been criminally under supported by the board throughout his tenure with us and has basically run out of ideas to keep us moving forward, I don't blame him for that; he must be exhausted and probably relieved to be able to take a break. He comes across as a decent guy so I wish him all the best.
  21. I’m not certain fan discontent will be a major factor for those running the club. Nor do I think it should be. The owners have a multi million pound asset to protect, I’m fairly certain that is incentive enough.
  22. B- For A grade xenophobia please consider adding something disrespectful to their players, something like Abdul Kickaball, Mehmed Onmehead
  23. This sounds just like our last home game
