I think we have been down the road of being treated as customers or as mushrooms (kept in the dark and fed ****) I don't think , and hope that, this will be the case with the potential new owners but we need to proceed with wildes one good idea of a fans parliament that provides a link between us and them and then enables us to fully unite. The new owners need to get all the stay aways and don't give a ****s back onside (that will be all those that did n't get behind the team by the way!!)(not those of us who have kept our sts, and stuck our hand in our pocket to fill buckets (and no C.B. I don't think that makes me care more than others but it proves that I stayed behind the team!)). And they need to do it PDQ. i just feel that open ownership will be better than a secretive one. If you buy a house the fee paid is recorded on the title register so people know what the price paid was... why should it be anydifferent here??

I, for one, can't wait for the season to get started.... I am actually more into the Saints than ever.... Just want this admin stuff sorted and ready to tick a few off the 92.... I am in the high 50's (grounds not age!) so the opportunity to see saints have alittle tour round some of these 'proper' football grounds is quite exciting. Just wish we could be signing up for season tickets now. I know its a risk and against the law but I think it would help as it would show potential owners the strengh (taking the positive stance again so just waiting for C.B.Fry et al to pour there half empty negativity all over my post) of the support the club has. Can't wait for the start of the season and of course it is a world cup year so its double bubble on the footy front!!!

If Kenwyn Jones is worth £20m and Rory Delap was worth £4m ..... surman is probably worth £1.5m at least.... He is still young and has time to develop. I think newcastle will get £1m out of him!

I think the VT development is a key piece in the future of Southampton... we must get that right. A guy I work with, who is from Chesterfield, was recently in our great city and said that he thought it was just carparks and shops with no real centre. It was interesting to get the view on the place from someone who isn't from the town and had n't been to the city before. There are some really great bits to see in Southampton but it does need sorting out. I don't htink we can ever compete with Portsmouth Geographical location, 'The Sydney of the North' I like to call it. Western Shore needs to be sorted out and Mayflower park/The Pier. I went to the IOW recently, first time in years, and actually though Southampton look quite good from the sea approach, which is a contradiction to what I have written before..... but it COULD BE SO MUCH BETTER. We need something to challenge the Spinneker Tower. A real focal feature. Also our planners need shooting for allowing 'industrial' type buildings like leisure world. A great big Clad Steel framed building. Surely we can raise our game to make Southampton the heart of the South?

I guess it was the way it was told to me.... and the source it originally came from...... Like I said earlier stranger things could happen. It was the Strachan thing that made me laugh most but then he does no more than walk out on Celtic in the time frame of out takeover completing one part of the fairy tale. We will have to wait and see but it still some how makes me smile.

Another good idea.... I think a tie in with the cricket club could be good as well with a joint membership discount...

Still one of the funniest rumours ever..... It just makes me laugh for some reason.

This is a very good idea as it really is a bonus cup competition. We are still inleague and Fa cups so why not just offer this as a freebie. Go to football free. ST's and Members would have a time frame to get there free ticket and then open it up to everone.

Thought you done a great job guys.... my little girl loved it... shes only two but had a good time! .... looks like the club ****ed up agian. First job for new owners must be to get new blood in to run thinks like the catering correctly. They miss so many opportunities it is unreal!
