I am saying people should n't knock other peoples threads - if you don't like a thread on here due to its topic nature there is no need to bash it - just move to next thread. I was just trying to point out to one of the users that what he had written on one thread could then apply to something he himself has then written. sometimes......

Me again!!! You loved that quote did n't you! I'm might charge you a pint everytime you use it!!! For once I am agreement with some of what you say. I still whole heartedly agree with fundraising to save the club, something you see as a waste of time. But I do feel that there is no clear goal as what the fundraising is trying to achieve. I have said all along, including to David Luker that the fundraising needed to be co ordinated and driven but instead we have formed several splinter groups that are all raising money but with no idea of what the money is being used for or how long it will save us. So bring on the 11th hour - set the deadline and play the odds - if it does go against us we start again, otherwise we find a buyer. The whole thing is a complicated mess from a business point of view, with bits of the business in admin, bits not. We need an outcome and soon. ... by the way I let the other thread die as I quite simply have had enough of all the apathy and negativity and the bickering, .... but to clear up one point I do not see why you always feel that I feel that I care more than other people (as was the case as well on the Poppy thread). Sometimes I let my heart rule my head with what I write and I appreciate that some of my views are quite blunt and Forthright but I find the apathy that has spread over this club so soul destroying. The loss of the clubs roots and heritage is a real concern. As I have said before one of the things I have stood by is that there is always someone who knows more than you on any given subject and you can always learn something new so not quite sure how that gets to you thinking that I always go for the care more/know more line as you could n't be further from the truth.

Although this is a very interesting thread Docker how is it any more relevant than my thread which involves forum members organising a Forum Football Match???? 150ft of historical training footage probably appeals to less people than a football match?? I like the thread as enjoy all links to the past but perhaps you should try to accept that as an open forum some threads interest certain people, some threads don't....but that does n't give people the right to then insult other members because they don't like the topic of a thread or see its relevence to the forum in general. Thats what Madness did one year... and lookthere doing Madstock again. If something is fun and you enjoy it and it helps the club out why limit it to one summer only. We had a right good night - and we have all got something out of it and made some good new friends so it is well worth it!!

And is it not a forum football match??? Jealous that we actually have some fun out of the forum and it is actually something positive as opposed to the normal routine of lets slag anyone off we can....
