More to do with offloading a player on high wages.
-
This will be a good idea but it does make your blood boil when clearly from the radio or Sky reports (my listening mode) picked Davis out as making four or five outstanding saves to keep us in the game. AwaySaint1 was clearly away with the fairies.

Where are the pro Burleyites? Bournemouth Saint?

Yep, we dropped that far down the league every team was a tougher opposition. -
Decipher mode on.

So don't you think it will be better for him to be in the premiership where he could line his pockets with with more money through higher wages and bonuses. You are really blinkered.

So we had a blip over the festive period (please define the festive period as to me that's games over the xmas and new year period, 22nd Dec to 01st Jan, 4 games when we drew 2 and lost 2). The slide stopped after this blip something you have failed to notice hence my post to show two wins and a draw after the festive period and before he left. Once again the slide started when D&G took over, under Burley it was a mid table finish. -

And before that we got 7 points from a possible 12. That makes it 14 points from 33, 3 wins, 5 draws and 3 losses. Not relegation form. As I said the slide started when Burley left. -

Correct and we should of done better in the first season than a play off place when we spent most of that money, but it didn't help last season when he had to sell £20m worth of talent to weaken the squad. That said we did underperform. -

And he followed that game with 4 points from 6 (and a cup win against Leicester) before taking the Scotland job, good slide that. -

It's my opinion that had Burley not got the Scotland job we would not of been fighting relegation, merely finishing mid table. -

Far from it, we had 37 points from 28 games and was 5 points from a play off place but 10 points from a relegation place. We started our slide when Burley left and D&G took over. Burley may of underperformed during the season and the team often erratic but we still ground out results. -
Although it's looking a bit better every other team has one or two games in hand. Let's hope for bad weather when they play catch up or just win our last four games.

Exactly, the same would of happened had Crouch still been in charge, that Lowe is in charge now makes no difference to the fact we are in debt and need to reduce the wage bill. Whoever is in charge without the money to put in will be in the same position.
-
Maybe the bank is calling the shots, Lowe and Wilde have probably been told to slash the wage bill meaning getting rid of the high earners.

You won't need to give her much to buy a lot of goods in Primark -
Like Afghanistan you mean.....

At least all three will have something to play for what with only two going down.

Our next port of call after Iraq/Afghanistan?

Same od Alpine, provocative as ever. You really need to lighten up, now where is you bestest forum mate, sog? -
1) I agree Saggy offers something different and would like him to stay but we all know the financial circumstances surrounding us. 2) Didn't see any aggression in my post, only counter arguments. 3) Pot, kettle, black. 4) You have to see this through the eyes at the game, without that there is no question.

So what's that got to do with the players wages? Every band has a different wage structure. -
You mean you didn't know about the cull that was to happen? Get real, the teams we have set out to play speak for themselves, the bit part players are the ones that are going whether you, me or others like it. We need to lower the wage bill. Gathered from a lot of opinions from pre season at least we are playing footy so at least there is a bit of optimism, something you know nothing about.
