Claus/Makin were injured for nearly the most of last season, the rest I would prefer to call underachievers. The squad we have at the moment may be young but from what I have seen so far show more passion and fight than most of those 15 you mention. We will finish mid table this season and certainly will not get relegated. Stick with your doom and gloom, I will stay happy clappy.

Give Marian Pahars a ring........
-
Nope, he was already paid for.
-
One man does not make a team, some players can stand out even in a relegation side.
-
Andrew Davies.
-
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Harte 26 in one season maybe but not in the past 4 years as you quote.
-
A few good points here, if Surnam left that wil be £2million in the coffers + wages saved (not itk about his wages so gestimation of £4k per week), if Harte demands £10k a week for a years contract that is half a million in wages, certainly a better offer.
-
Midlands actually but I believe most players abilities are judged by fans that actually see them in action, reserve games are not watched by many fans.
-
Why will it be the clubs stupidity? Contracts are signed and sometimes you have to except the terms whether it's in your favour or not.
-
Davies left because he was offered premiership football with premiership wages, something that was probably in his contract when he arrived. Not too sure about Surnam but it seems to me like Jan has ben told we are now ok on the money side but if you need more players for the squad then you need to sell, hence our biggest asset in Surnam being sold. All imo of course.

According to this he rejected a month to month contract: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Harte

That's what I thought, still a decent replacement if it happens.
-
As it says on the box, according to the Daily Star Harte is training at SMS after his move to Wolves collapsed. It says he looks a likely replacement for the Reading bound Andrew Surnam.
-
I'll pm you when I've found out about tickets if that's ok with you.
-
Ricoh arena February 19th 2009, interested?
-
Better than nothing
-
They've still got Coventry and Birmingham
-
Probably to tell us he is leaving at the end of the year.
-
Have to agree with you on this, he seems untouchable and the fact he plays for United helps his selection. Mike Parry bigs him up as Mike is an Everton fan and that is where Rooney started his career.
-
Wasn't always like that, when I lived in London in the nineties I could get my shirts locally no problem, I even brought my daughters first shirt in 1996/7 in London.
-
Well if Anthony Pulis is joining us I can only assume his dad is joining us soon.......
-
I do, I also wonder how Stoke fans can judge a player on two appearances (one appearance playing out of position) in four years.
-
Yep and they've seen him play two games in four years, that's one game every two years to give a rating. The Stoke fans probably don't even know which position he plays in let alone remember the two games he has played in, idiots.
-
I still hope for promotion but can't really see it this season. We need to stabalise what with a virtually new squad so mid table this season will do for me.
-
Why, because some are happy clappy? If you want to post your doom and gloom fine but that does't mean this forum is a joke because others think differently. Get behind the forum ffs. By the way we are not going down.
