I would say so. A smaller club at home would be ideal in round three followed by Man Ure or Arsenal away in the next (assuming we win the next tie).

So you think posters should receive infractions for debating topics then you come back with a reply liks this, that must be worth a ban. [-X Still you only get three posts a day so it's not worth banning you. See you tomorrow.

The carling cup is the same as the FA cup, 45% to each club and 10% to the pool account. See 19.1.1 in this article: http://www.carlingcup.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Rules/0,,11995,00.html

It was the comparison of the two teams against Birmingham which is what I was replying to.

Correct and the four we replaced were the only four experienced players we had in the side, Davis, Svensson, Perry and John and replaced them with only two experienced players and two more kids.

I should imagine the vultures will be looking at our future stars for the new season (2009-2010), a bit like Bale. Although Theo left in the Januaary window this was slightly different as he was not under contract.

Last three games of our play off season, Leeds 1-0 Norwich 1-0 Southend 4-1 Before the southend away game we won four on the trot. Bring on blackpool and hopefully another three points, play like they have been and we should win.

Nice to see pompey fans at loggerheads with each other on a saints forum

Well done Hacienda, I follow the players and team on the pitch not the boardroom, good that you are coming round to football and not who is running the club. Hats off to you.

He was referring to Pekhart. -
It seems the poster who label them the dutch jokers is rather quiet.

And we deserved something from the two losses.

Certainly is a lot better, we have players who are hungry and want to play football and the style of football is brilliant to watch. We have played five games now with three wins and two losses, of the two losses we deserved a point from the Cardiff game, just came unstuck from a last minute goal and against Birmingham we played them of the park in the first half and should of been two or three up at half time. Seems this team is playing better with each game. -

Sky now showing January. Hopefully should the need require we can extend that. -
Great result and even the Brum commentators said we were the better team, more inventive with more shots at goal. Can't wait till saturday.

lol.

Good shout, we are a small fish in a big pond so the focus will be on the so called bigger club. Good to see some papers actually focused on the game though rather than the club.
-
Whilst I never saw anything on the os I would of thought Thomas and Wootton would play to add a bit of experience to the side. I expect Birmingham will play a weakened side as well.
