The only starter seems to be Elyounoussi to replace Tadic. I'm talking about players who unquestionably would start ahead of what we currently have. Squad size will be ok no doubt but quality remains a question which is the thing concerning me this window. Yes, we've signed xyz but they are all squad players to add depth and options. But none with any "star", game changing quality. We are just hoping based on their stats and their previous experiences that they come good for us in the first team and that they will develop into the stars we hope they will be for us. But that is The Saints way. I suspect anything more would be considered unsustainable!

Decent stats. Hopefully he and Armstrong can make the transition to the Premier League. At least we have some new options.

I hope he stays. Regular playing time will have given him a real boost last year. We have to take a decent look at him before moving on surely. Feel he's one of those players who will always give 100% which is what you need when you are fighting relegation / promotion.

Departures don't worry me. It's the arrivals we struggle with. Tadic needs to be replaced.. lets hope the club agree.

I think that's what happens when you promote your 3rd,4th,5th choice CBs to first choice. No matter who is in charge.

So glad that wasn't the goal that relegated us. Doesn't bear thinking that it could have been. Enjoyed the whole game but the ending sums up the problems this year. Disappointing we can never hang on.
