That is where I'm starting to go when I reflect on the season. Thinking about the number of games we've not put away the chances created. A quality striker on the end of those could have made the difference. And then think of the poor goals conceded by the keeper. Any team would struggle with him in goal. He seems to barely make a save unless it's straight at him.

Yep, basically just waiting for the final whistle. Noone realising we could still lose the game. Switched off.

The subs today were totally ineffective. None of them seemed to come on with a sense or purpose, a plan. Everyone just sits back hoping someone else will take responsibility.

Whole defence just ball watching.

Same could be said for most of our games. We just don't take our chances and are soft at the back. Everything inbetween is fine though!

To be fair it was already gone really. We've not got enough consistency. Defence has never really been sorted this season. Even during the excellent run.

We've been on the back foot for most of this half. And the subs haven't helped us regain a foothold.

All going horribly wrong for us. Mental fortitude lacking. Players just waiting for the inevitable.

We're regressing to our usual style. Going backwards. That one started from a rubbish kick out by Bazunu. Think we'd be in the automatic places already if we had a better keeper.

Solid first half and could easily be out of sight. But we know how prone we are to conceding and making mistakes. Got to keep attacking second half and not sit back!

Yes he was rather exposed there. Misjudged it, should have just thumped it out. Although I do wonder who was meant to be tracking back with Tielemans.

We are on an awful run and can't really expect to get away with that. We can try to keep winning to keep the pressure on, but i think we'll have to settle for a playoff place. It is frustrating because we had worked hard to get ahead of the pack and then totally thrown it away.

We had a lot of great chances and deserve the win. But Martin really needs to sort the defence out. Find a mix that works, drop Manning for a start.

Defence all over the place as usual. Martin hasn't been able to sort it out. Can't expect to stay in the hunt if we can't defend...

Didn't expect anything today. That's 4 defeats in the last 5 though. Martin has work to do.

New manager bounce.

We've gone from a very strong position to 3 defeats out of 4. Need to stop the rot. Still only 5 off the pace but we need to get the attacking confidence back.

We seem to get stuck in a rut in some games. Hesitating, choosing to go backwards instead of forwards. No slick passing, just slow and ponderous.

I think we lack the intensity and attacking intent we had. Possibly tiredness as the season progresses. A few goals against and heads dropped.

Valid point, I hadn't realised where they were in the league. Perhaps Martin was also oblivious based on his selection!

And yet, against a decent West Brom side we won 2-0 away from home. I think we can raise our game for those big three. It's the other teams we'll under estimate like Martin did yesterday.
