Whatever happened to Maguire, it's time to admit it's not getting better. He'd struggle in a walking football league. Hopefully he's not picked for England. I'm actually feeling a little sorry for them now.. totally dysfunctional football club.

Part of the joy of being a football fan. When things are going badly we feel miserable. When it's going well we are overjoyed. We get the whole range at Saints.

Need better players too. We've just signed a bunch of unknowns.

Only two games but it seems the outlay over the summer has made zero difference. We are weaker than before.

We seem to be all over the place after the goal. Totally lost our grip on the game.

We cant defend full stop.

First tests for defence. Failed both GK bailed them out.

Even game so far. We've had better chances and they should have had a red card with Stu being taken out when through on goal. Slow game but we've created a few bits and pieces. Defence yet to be properly tested.

Yes we aren't very compact or neat. Players getting familiar with each other I guess.

Different owners now but similar happened when we let Fonte go one January if I remember right. We were left with Stephens and Yoshida as first choice for half a season.

Does look like a great prospect. Hope it works out of course, and that he's a great player for us. But it's another gamble to add to the summer collection. Can't help but remain a little concerned about the season ahead.

Summarises my feelings presently. We are taking a big (calculated) risk that the youngsters we've signed will step up. If they don't it could be extremely embarrassing.

Not too bad a start. Not bad finish except last game. Need to invest a lot more to improve the team if we want to compete though.

Only June the 11th but so far the window has a very "Saintsy" feel to it. Problems in every position and we are gambling on youth signings and offering new contracts for those just hanging on. Plenty of time to go eh.

They aren't playing, so far. It's been really awful and disjointed. Too many ok the beach already.

Huddersfield fans must be livid. The first pen shout was a dive, but the second was one blatant contact. No idea why it wasn't properly reviewed. But, in the end they did fail to really test the Forest keeper(s).
