At least we should know a little more of our fate by the time this game comes around. Both Leeds and Everton will play 3 times and Burnley once more before we face Liverpool. Hopefully we can go into this one already knowing we are safe by then...

Liverpool players must surely be thinking about our various 9 nils and thinking its their turn. Maybe go one more and make it 10. About time we broke some more records..

I do think Ralph needs to go. We need a fresh vision. But he has been given progressively worse squads to work with year after year. More depth this year but lower star quality, the kind that wins games.

I never thought that. We sold Ings and Vest and replaced with A Armstrong and Lyanco. Clearly weaker. Broja loan has worked out OK, plus Ely has done a lot better than expected. But we are clearly weaker than last season to me.

Must be looking at this and thinking there is nothing more he can do here. Maybe he'll quit.

Even worse when you look at the teams we've playing during that period of time too.

With Liverpool and Liecester the only games left for us, it looks like we're going to finish on 40. Worse than last year.

Right, onto the next game.. Worryingly that looks very well placed to be this seasons 9-0. Liverpool are lethal. Just depends if they want it or not I think. Might use it as a chance to rest up once it goes beyond doubt.

Again I sit here thinking thank God we got that freak result against Arsenal.

That aimless ball into the middle from one of our forward plays just the sums it up. Ericsson totally unmarked passed it forward to another player totally unmarked who runs to get the ball. No-one out there gives a damn.

Like several of our players, he seems to have declined under Ralph. Salisu, both Armstrongs, even Bednerak wasn't this bad before.

Only one team in this game. Brentford quite comfortably seeing it out.

Anything could happen this second half. 2-2 or 5-0. Only one of those results would surprise me.

No-one seems to track players off the ball or try to be first to the ball when it comes in. Players too quick to just stop playing and wait for the whistle or for someone else to tidy up.

Par for the course under Ralph. Still time for our annual 9 nil too.

Fair to day we've nearly gone 3 down from every single Brentford attack. Defence totally spineless.

Really don't understand this dark cloud hanging over our team lately. Something has to change to give us a positive outlook, some enthusiasm for the game...

Really really hope we can get a point today. Or we'll have to keep an eye on other results below us with a degree of worry..

Pretty much our standard performance lately. No idea how to defend. Not enough effort shown. Can't just be down to the manager but when things are broken Ralph often has no idea how to fix them, as evidenced the poor runs without a win etc. And this run of form.
