Got a two week wait now till seeing us get smashed by Wolves. Then Leicester and City. Tough month ahead.

I would always want us to play in the top division. But I don't think we've got the financial clout to keep up any more. What money we do have we've become very good at squandering on dross. The championship is the natural place for us now.

Another team has beaten us without having to play well. Thrashed us actually. Without braking a sweat.

Looking at the squad I am not sure what we can really do differently. None of them have game changing ability really. There is no alternatives to Hoj or JWP

It's a good development game for them. Gives the youngsters a run out and more goals to build confidence. No danger of losing. Easy training style win. No need to push too hard really.

Very few quality options though. Ings seems to have found form but everyone else is unproven or already shown they aren't good enough. A bit like at the back I guess. We are mediocre.

What can we actually do to change it though? No better on the bench.
