It's there now.....

He's an out and out striker, he'd have to fight for his position with SRL, JR and BS. Gaston, is by all accounts, a midfielder...
-
Me neither, about the only player I'd recognise on the street is MLT. Gaston could be sitting next to me and I wouldn't have a scooby it was him
-
It's a KFC at Fleet, well South Bound side it is, he'd have to cross the bridge to get a McDs (I think)

OK, what I see different to the Kenwyne Jones/Scott Parker/Puncheon situation is this :- Bologna have accepted our bid for Gaston, I think that is 90% certain. We have agreed terms with Gaston, I am 100% certain that that is 100% certain. In the other 3 cases above no-one had accepted any offers from any clubs for the players in question (they were in effect tapped up via the media) Therefore Gaston, in my tiny world anyway, is perfectly in his rights to try and get Bologna to get their asses in gear!!

Now this is where I am getting confused. Initially I thought it was a dual ownership situation, Bologna owned 70%, Penarol 30% I thought that Saints had agreed a fee with Bologna to buy their share and another fee with Penarol to buy theirs (was it €1.5m??) Now it seems, according to the Italian press, that the 30% is actually a sell on clause and Bologna are unhappy with the €15M bid because they are going to lose a %age to agents and 30% to Penarol. And this is causing Bologna problems..... According to the English press the problem is because Saints won't provide a guarantee on the 2nd part of the 2 part payment (€5m??) that Bologna need to be able to get a loan to get themselves out of their financial ****e!! It's all so ****ing confusing...

Sounds to me like it is mainly Bologna and Rameriz's agent that are leaking things....
-
Sheesh it's easy. 1) Saints have agreed a fee 2) Saints paying €10m now and €5m next year 3) Bologna are trying to get a loan based on the €5M (for whatever reason, mainly because, like most of Italy, they are cash strapped!!) 4) Bologna's bank want a guarantee that we will pay the €5M 5) Cortese can't/won't give that guarentee (I'm an honourable man, my word is my bond etc. etc.) 6) Saints gave Bologna 24hrs to sort their **** out 7) Bologna haven't

Maybe the CB and LB's agents aren't leaking stuff to the press because the deals are going smoothly and they don't need to, maybe??

That's exactly what I've said elsewhere, they need the money more than we need Ramirez, he'll be ours, oh yes, he will be ours....
