  1. We need a stand full of "marching band" people, a la American College Football!!
  2. Book them online, will cost an extra £2 but it's worth it, surely!!
  3. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?36804-Boozers-post-match-7th-April...
  4. And a portable battery pack one hopes!!
  5. And seriously, what are they going to do? stand outside the ground and chant? Cause trouble in town! They sure as hell won't be able to get into (or anywhere near the ground), do these people have no brain-cells to rub together??
  6. It's on a Saturday with a 13:00 KO. Can you imagine the kick off if (non-football) shoppers couldn't get their cheap beer and burger from the Wetherspoons??
  7. OK, swap "decent" for "proper"
  8. Divert the money you'd use on getting the screen fixed to a decent phone!!
  9. You can bet your bottom diollar he's got less for his failures than SG-E has..
  10. No, no, no, Oops Upside Your Head goes like this....
  11. As long as you have a kevlar vest on under the shirt!!
  12. http://www.freesat.co.uk/what-you-get/our-channels I think the Renault-TV channel would seal the deal for me. On and to answer the OP, Sports channels are non-existant (unless you get a CI module! [Can you get a CI module with Freesat?]) and the kids channels suck.
  13. Those 9 penalties have come in 6 games, so in effect have only affected the outcome of those games. Just noticed 3 of the 7 goals put past Watford were penalties, ouch. West Hams penalties have been in 6 games and have affected the points in maybe 5 of them, ie they won the game by the odd goal or drew (against us at their place). They only beat the Skates, at Nottarf Krap, by the 1 goal which was (you guessed it) a penalty
  14. And this is a good one as well. Only trouble is the club could be like my company and decide that they don't have any money to pay the bonuses and of course the bonus agreement is ever so carefully worded to cover this!!
  15. Are you Rupert Lowe in disguise? But seriously, that is the best solution all around. Either tems in the contracts that reduce wages in the case of relegation OR relegation release clauses. AND isn't that exactly the sort of thing Lord Lowe had written into the players' contracts pre PL relegation??
  16. Emmets is Cornish for ants, 'cos the tourists swarm all over like ants! Grockles is used in the other parts of the West Country and here in deepest, darkest Daaarset!!
  17. Big, baggy shirts, wonderful and wasn't Paul Allen ****e, and that's before he sailed his yacht into Southampton!!
  18. "Can you enter your PIN please." is proper and right, anything else is WRONG. What about SPARC systems? Scalable Processor Array RISC Computer, with RISC being Reduced Instruction Set Computer, so you get Scalable Processor Array Reduced Instruction Set Computer Computer. Make my head explode it does!
  19. Never, there's never an "s" after and apostrophe if there is one before!! Well, as the webstie is Athletic Channel (loosley translated) I was sort of guessing/assuming (I know, I know) that it was semi official.
  20. It's wrong if you have "s'" you don't have "s's" (at least that's what I think you're saying). BTW, this article in Spanish from Jan 2010!! http://www.canalathletic.com/noticias/2010-01-06/colores-siglo-20100106.html
  21. Gosh, and I knew ages before Wikipedia was even a twinkle in Jimmy Wales' (note the position of the apostrophe please The9) nether region that Athletic Bilbao's kit was "sourced" from Southampton's. And no amount of Mackems changing Wikipedia is going to change my mind on that one!
  22. Yeah, and according to the commentator (from the first leg) they got their kit from Sunderland!! I did try to correct, via Twitter, but not heard an apology!
  23. It's one and the same!! Open 2 weeks after the end of the transfer window and closes end of this month?
  24. As did the rest of the team IIRC, nice mind **** by the future England manager
